march 2-9 crowds?

Being from Canada, our spring break is 1st week of March. Are many U.S. schools out at this time, and what kind of crowds can we expect.? All this talk of FOTL advantages is making me nervous... are the crowds that heavy & am I the geek who's gonna be waiting an hour and a half for everything? Staying on-site is not an option, I've got a family of 5 so a suite is required, and one of those on-site would cost about $15,000,000 Canadian per night. ($7,500,000 with the Entertainment book) Advice appreciated!

You should have moderate crowds...although Mardis Gras starts 2/8...so it will be a busier weekend.

Did you try booking a deluxe room with a roll away for your party of five at the HRH or Portofino...using any of the discounted rates?
