Ok, I am a little confused on the trolley tickets--you don't buy the kids tickets correct? They are just free when you show up? Right?

I think we are in for 4 lanyards. I don't know if dh will wear one--I'll ask.

Glad the snow is not too bad for you Erin. It snowed yesterday 5 inches and this afternoon was -25 wind chill. I can't wait for this winter to be done!

Wanted to check and see if anyone doing the FE's (or their family) have peanut allergies. My DH (who isn't going on the cruise, since it's just DH and I) wants to make a gift using peanuts in the shell (Dothan is the peanut capital of the world) for us to take as a FE gift.

Obviously, if you or your family is allergic to peanuts, this wouldn't be a great gift at all.

Hiya! I was confused about the trolley tix, too, but I purchased 2 adult ones and left the child quantity blank (as it said to do), and when I got the e-ticket printed out, it says right on it that kids ride free until 5/31/11. So you should be good to go!

We didn't get any snow last night but the kids were out of school b/c everything is covered in ice. Roads were very bad. We're supposed to get more tonight... at this rate, we'll be in school until July!

Does anyone going on Atlantis Submarine expedition in either cozumel or grand cayman? My DH wants to do it, and found it cheaper to go straight through the company...but I wanted to make sure it's worth $84...

I was pleasantly surprised that the adult tix for the trolley were cheaper than the posted price that I've read- and that kids are free until late May. I'd priced it out before at $12/child.

Re: the pie, I just figured, when in Rome....or Key West... haha The 2 places mentioned most for Key Lime Pie are Kermit's and the Key Lime Pie Outlet. You may be interested in the "other" treat that was recommended: a piece of Key Lime Pie frozen on a stick, then dipped in chocolate.

Where is everybody getting their Key Lime Pie at? We were going to stop by the Blonde Giraffe but they have closed all of there locations in Key West.

We had chocolate dipped frozen key lime pie last summer when we were in FL. It was so rich that 5 of us didn't finish 2 pieces.

Snow day here -- the first we've had in three years. But the storm hasn't hit nearly as badly as expected. DD's dance classes are still on this evening, tho!

Congrats on getting that room assignment jremmons. It makes everything seem so much closer.

I took advantage of today's snow day to sort my cruise stuff in the basement. Nothing like warm thoughts to get us through. Not looking forward to tomorrow's hike through the snow to the bus, though.

jremmons, I just got my room assignment, too and got an upgrade!! (11A to 9C)...BUT! it's cabin 2540, which is right under the Waveband bar? I've started reading reviews and got a bit worried.. my DH is a light sleeper, and don't know if he'll be able to handle the noise....I have read reviews that says it's noisey and some says not at all...Has any of you ever stayed in cabin 2540 (or around that area??)

Worst case, I'll have to give him tranquilizer so he'll sleep like a baby! hahahaha j/k!!

Hi - I once had 2516 which is also in that area. I could hear the sound until 12 or 1am and then it all stops. It is less sound and more bass from the music. I used the foam earplugs and I was fine. The foam plugs take some practice getting in but once you have it figured out - beautiful silence.

Hey there March Magic gang, I have update page 1 post #6 with lot's of information and links. Please feel free to let me know if any errors with information, names if you want them posted and cabin numbers. I will bring printed lists to the meet with room on the list to hand write info in if you want - but you will be hand writing info in on many copies.you can PM me if you want and I will have the printed list with your info but keep it off the post.

Looks like several are going to book Key West Trolley. I posted link on post #6. I also updated with the newest cabin numbers from today's assignments (at least the ones that ya'll put on your posts)

I will be happy to organize a group picture at our meet
We need volunteers for the following:
1. someone to print out sheets of DCL coloring pages (available to CC members on line) and bring crayons for the younger set

2. someone to bring a craft item for the pre-teens to do at the meet - really helps them get started on friendships
