March 15, 2015 MAGIC Cruise!! :)

We will drive be down Sunday morning. We live just north of St Augustine so it's only a couple hours drive for us. Still not packed, but taking half day at work tomorrow, so it will be done and have a restful day on Saturday. My kids have it down to three sleeps and a wake up! Even though we just booked 3 weeks ago, it seems like it took forever to get here. I couldn't imagine waiting as long as some of you had to wait!

Sounds like we are neighbors! Going down on Sunday morning as well!

So....I'm a bit late joining in. i'm not much of a poster, more of a lurker/reader. I visited this thread in January right before the first FE deadline and was disappointed because I knew we wouldn't book in time to make the FE. I never considered that would be a late list (good to know for next time). Today I was a little frantic thinking that we are only a few days out -- I'm such a planner booking only 3 weeks out is not good for my stress level. So I thought if I checked out the thread there might be others feeling the same. So nice to know I'm not the only one not packed.
Since I thought we couldn't join a FE group, I decided to do one for my kids on my own. I noticed that there are several rooms that at least by number appear to be close to ours (6037) so I wanted to make sure that my random FE didn't throw anyone off when there were delivering -- we don't want to end up with any gifts meant for other families.
Then driving home, I remembered that I have some Baymax (sp?) pillows that need a good home. My Mom made a bunch for my daughters birthday party last week and we didn't have as many kids as we thought. I was hating to leave them sitting in the closet. I have 4 stuffed and 8 flat. So if you have a Big Hero 6 fan in your group let me know. Fingers crossed that the number I have match up with requests.

Well, bags are packed, everything is as ready as it's going to be. We head to the airport at 3am tomorrow morning. Spring Break starts NOW!

Thank you! Our son is 3.5 and I can't believe that our daughter is already 7 (her Birthday was on Tuesday). Amazing how time flies, unless you are counting down to a cruise

We live outside Orlando so we'll drive in on Sunday. Since we aren't going anywhere yet, it still doesn't seem like it is just a few days. Spring break started today so we are doing Legoland tomorrow, then finishing up the packing on Saturday.

To DLSR or not to DLSR, that is the question. I keep going back and forth on this. I would primarily use it while on the ship. I can't imagine that I would take it with me for any of our excursions because of what we are doing--maybe in Cozumel, but I'm hesitant with even that one. I have a decent P&S, but it's just not as good as my DLSR. It would mean taking one more carry on. Since our only previous cruise was a 4 day, I don't have a good feel for whether it's worth bringing for this trip. What do y'all think?

Our DIS board meet and greet is at 3pm in the promenade lounge on sailaway day Sunday! Hope you can come join us!!!

My little Tessa seems to be feeling and doing better already so thanks for the good thoughts! When does everyone head out? We leave the house at 6am Sat morning to make the drive to the airport. IT still doesnt quite feel real to me!!

I think we overpacked! But we'll be on vacation for 10 days, and I'm NOT doing laundry on vacation! We fly out tomorrow morning at 7:00!

We definitely overpacked! My husband's passport went missing so we were rushing around trying to find it. That resulted in crazy packing if just throwing everything in. So just finished our 4 hour drive to Dallas and got to the airport just in time. Sitting on the airplane ready to depart and get a nap. I have been awake 24 hours Let the relaxing begin!

My 3 yr old spiked another fever last night so we switched her antibiotics. Could you spare a little prayer for her? This mama is getting nervous!

My wife & I are on this cruise, just the two of us and this is cruise No. 12 with DCL.
If anyone would like to meet up we will usually be found in Keys before the second meal sitting and again from about 10pm onwards on the first night. Just look for the guy with the beard and come and say Hi.
We are from England and don't bite!
