March 14, '10 "Wonder"ful cruise!!

Just took advantage of the Kids Sail Free promo and booked the a 4 night Wonder for March 14!! So excited.

We cruised on the Magic last spring break. This will be our first on the Wonder. We booked a B2B cruise this time for 1/2 of what a 7 day would cost

We're on this cruise. I just checked DCL website because we were thinking of upgrading our room, but that date doesn't appear on the DCL website anymore. Does that mean that the cruise is sold out?

When I checked two days ago they only had rooms in CAT 5 & higher on that cruise. So, it is possible that it is sold out now.

We booked a CAT 11 and were given the last quad sleeping CAT 11 that DU had available. I don't care where I sleep, just happy to be going!

Wow! That cruise sold out in a hurry then, because I booked it on the 2nd day of the sale and cats 4 through 11 were available. I just thought I'd check again today because I was thinking of moving from a cat 8 to 6. Oh well, I guess we'll have a full ship.

With a full ship, you'd think there would be more of us on this thread, huh?

I figure with it being spring break for a lot of people it sold out faster than normal.

I would also like to upgrade. I am going to wait until the 75 day mark and see what is available. When we cruised on the Magic March '09 we booked a GTY 12 for 4 people and were placed in a CAT 10, absolutely LOVED it. Was hoping to do that for this trip also. But I will take what I have and be thankful that I am back on Disney. We didn't think we would be able to afford one so soon. Oh, we are cruising on Carnival Legend Nov. 22 of this year.

So, how many people are in your party? We are a party of six, me, dh, two dd's 16 & 13 and the grandparents. They travel every where with us. They are afraid we will have too much fun. They hate missing out on cruises.

I'll be on this sailing as well. We've got 2 connecting secret porthole rooms booked for our crew. (4 adults, 3 kids) We're counting down the days!!

We have never been able to get a secret port hole room!! You are lucky!!
On our first DC we were in an 11, second was a 10 & third was a 10...now we are in an 11. I am sure we will love it. My only problem is that we are doing a B2B and we have to change rooms. But not too far, we are in 6037 & we have to move next door to 6039 for the 3 night. My dad suggested that we stand outside the door of the people in 6039 & ask them if they minded changing rooms. They are the same set up, but I can't do it. I will be fine packing my things up and then unpacking!! My parents don't have to switch rooms. They are in a sideways room. We will just put some of our things in their room until we can get in our "new" room.

Since we've got 3 kids, we need to do 2 rooms - not an easy thing to manage. We sailed in Feb. this year and were in a 7 and 11 directly across the hall. We loved the rooms but didn't like having to keep going across the hall to see each other. Plus my husband had to sleep in one room with 2 kids while I was in the other with the youngest. Having connecting rooms will make it much easier this time! We booked really early for this and were happy to get the connecting rooms. But now we're not getting the kids sail free deal so I guess that is the trade-off.

We are a party of 4. DH, me, ds 10, and ds 7. We were originally going to cruise with Carnival but when this deal came out, we jumped on it. We're happy to be back on the Wonder! But I'm concerned about the crowd on the ship. Have you guys ever sailed on a sold out ship?

Hopelea we sailed with you last March on the Magic, but I do not think we met. There are now CAT 12's available for the 7 days cruise leaving March 13, so it may be about the same price as the B2B nows, just an FYI.

I had booked this cruise as a B2B with the 3 day while on board last spring, but I have decided to do only the 4 days, I was actually going to cancel both, but with the Kids sail free I decided I can do 4 days at spring break and a cruise in the summer.

I am amazed at how fast this cruise sold with the promo, I changed my reservation to kids sail free on Monday and I actually downgraded to an 11 and everything was available.

I haved sailed twice on the Magic and once on the Wonder when they have been full, and it has not been crazy busy, except for the sail away party. I think the ships are staffed and built to sail full so it fine. This cruise is not sold out there are still cabins available for less than 4 passengers, just no cabins for 4 left.

We just booked with the kids sail free promo. I wasn't planning on a Disney cruise until 2011, but couldn't pass up this deal.

We are a family of 7. DD16, DD14, DS12, DS10, DS4. We have 2 staterooms at the back of the ship.


I started a thread, yesterday, because I didn't see one that was started for this date. We have to get this on the "Find your Wonder cruise link". Since this cruise filled up so fast I'm sure there are a lot of people out there.

hopelea - If I had #6039, I would move for you. Maybe they will see this thread and start posting and then maybe you can make arrangements to do it before hand. We are actually looking to move one of our staterooms closer to the aft of the ship. I am hoping something becomes available when final payments are due.

We are so excited. My 16 year old isn't too thrilled because she didn't feel very well on our last cruise. Does anyone have any secret sea sickness remedies they can pass on. I promised her that this cruise will be better.

My Son was worried that he would be the only "old" kid on the boat. He is 17 and a only child so hanging out with Mom and Dad is only o.k. sometimes!

With the kids sail free promo & it being spring break for some schools.....I don't think your son should worry. I bet there are going to be a lot of kids on this cruise! Look cccory has 5 & I have two, so there is at least 7

My family of 4- Me, DH, DD 11 and DS 4 are booked on this cruise too. We booked this cruise back in April. When the deal for the kids free came out, I called and had my ressie switched (I had to cancel and rebook to get the discount) I ended up in the same room and same dining. Imagine how thrilled I was to find I saved $1100!! This is our first ever cruise. I am sooo excited. My friend and her family are also coming and booked their room down the hall (they also booked early) Looking forward to this.
