MICKEY MAIL AND SHOPPING!!!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY DIS FRIENDS!!!!

I can't believe it's been 4 years since I graduated from college

I hope everyone has had a good Mother's Day!! We went to church, Olive Garden lunch, Mom and I went shopping, and got Starbucks for happy hour 1/2 off! The sun is shining and the day is good! Mom made out pretty well for Mother's Day! I sent her flowers from Proflowers.com with chocolates and vase, a $15 gift card for WDW, and my brother and I split the cost of a digital camera (sony cybershot) and Swiss camera case!
We'll see how it will top her birthday in June at WDW

In other news...

MICKEY MAIL!!!!!

On Friday we got:

I heard on the dis podcast that if you mailed in for the TIW card that you would get a "hard card" instead of the paper card that you'll get if you wait to get it at GR or will call at GR so I'm glad I mailed mine in because I love the "hard card" and wished my AP was the same! I can't wait to use it!

On Saturday (yesterday) we got...

I've already called to have extra luggage tags sent since we're flying on SW. I just don't get why if you are flying SW, they don't send 2 each right away since 2 checked bags are free

The CM said that our other booklet for the departure from Poly would be coming in a few days but would not contain the luggage tags obviously..boo!!!

I'm glad to have a few things checked off my list but I know we still have plenty of time to go even though it's 39 days. I'm sorry but 6 weeks seems forever away and 39 days seems a lot closer!

I got a few things for the trip today while shopping at the mall.

I had $10 off + free undie at VS so I went a little crazy..you always need vacation undies right?!

All in all I got 8 pairs for $27 but I'm still getting used to sales tax on clothes in Ohio which we didn't have in PA..

We ran into B&B and I got 2 lotions and a body wash for $6:

I also ordered 2 more pairs of the black terry cloth shorts from Old Navy.com and used my $10 off. I had to pay for shipping but overall it came to about $8.50 each and they were $7.50 in stores but didn't have my size!




In Apt/Moving news...

I've talked to my CM friend "S" who's living there now and has looked at a few places. Most are off I4 just 10 miles south of DTD which is a good location. At this point since I'm unsure of a job/location, being close to the highway is a good thing! We're going to look at places in June but i want it narrowed down to 5 or less so we don't waste time on duds! We're looking at a 2/2 or maybe a 3/2 with washer and dryer in the unit! Of course when I mentioned this to dad today he kinda went into attack mode with the "What job do you have, what insurance will you have, etc." He can be a jerk sometimes but my mom reminds me that I'm his only daughter + first born so I get the brunt of everything unlike my brother..lucky him! He did the same thing the 3 times I moved around in FL so it's not like I'm not used to it but mom said to let him cool down and go from there but honestly, I'm 26 and can decide things on my own right?!
So it looks like for the next 2+ months I'm going to watch closely what I'm spending in order to make this all come together!!!!!!

Mom and I are going to start back at the gym full swing starting tomorrow! 2 days a week we take an Aqua Fit class at our LA Fitness and I'm thinking about trying the couch to 5K running plan in addition to the swim classes but I'm not sure since you have to devote 3 days to doing that but we'll see. Now that I'm surgery recovered and the dog is better we're ready to get into this!! We've considered Weight Watchers but we'll see how the other goes first.


Well that's it for now!!! I'm hoping more Mickey Mail arrives this week and before you know it, the color coded packing list will started!!!!!!

Yeah for ME mail! I am still waiting on mine to arrive....22 days to go! I am also waiting for my park tickets to arrive. I always buy them through Tickets At Work. They claim that you are purchasing 4 day tickets and getting 3 for free, but really when you compare to the Disney site it's more like 1 day free...but every bit of savings helps!

We do I have no idea what she's going to do when I leave..she'll need to get a job or something to keep her busy..she'll really be an empty nester for the first time with both her kids in FL and a 2.5 plane trip or 13 hour car ride away!!!

Haha..the system isn't anything to brag about but my friends in FL that I lived with always made fun of it because for a weekend trip at the resort, I'd make a packing list but I would never forget anything whereas they would and would have to waste gas to drive home to get it! I enjoy the OCD of it and they enjoy making fun of me

Haha well the diet/excercise did not work out yesterday! My aunt and uncle came to visit on their way home from AL with like 24 hr notice so we had pizza and junk yesterday which was fine but I haven't eaten that since before my surgery so it DID NOT agree with me and I spent half the night up with a hurting tummy and sugar high!

Thanks! Normally we would just do the DDP but with our schedule and a full day at Universal, we wouldn't use it at all and to use it for one night after VB, we'll have CL so that would be a waste too!

Thanks! I've already gotten our extra luggage tags that I called about on Sat! The only thing we're waiting for is the departure booklet for Poly but that should be any day now!

I don't have an Iphone I settled with a BB and verizon got the Iphone a few months later so I should have waited but I can't imagine a phone without internet now I do have an ITouch which I guess is pretty much an Iphone without a camera and calling features which I love!!!

I wasn't going to do a whole update but yay for 35 days!!!

I'm going to work on my packing list this weekend. We have to go to a wedding 4.5 hrs in eastern Ohio so I figured I'll have 4.5 hours there and 4.5 hours home to put my Crayola markers and notebook to use! I don't type up the packing list because for some reason I always feel like I'll miss something otherwise..OCD..yes

I got our extra luggage tags today already!! We're still awaiting our Poly departure booklet which should be here any day now! Other than that, I don't think we're to expect any other documents since we aren't doing a package of any kind...sad but there will be other trips!

I'm also thinking about buying a new carry-on bag from Target of the Swiss brand which is expensive but I hear they last a long time! My brother loves the one I got him for Xmas so we'll see..Like I said I need to start saving $$$ for the upcoming hopeful rent..so the full set of nails with French and glitter I got today was a splurge!

On a final note...the high today in Cincinnati was 89 degrees and we better get used to it! It's been in the 90s in Orlando for a while now!!!

DHS DAY!!!!

SUNDAY MARCH 20, 2011

Happy Sunday Dis Friends! This was our last full day of the trip! It started off very early once again!

The alarm went off at 7:15am and it was already 68 degrees! The high for the day again was 88 degrees..yay!!!

Even though it was going to be another long day with MK open till 3am but we were determined to do it!

At 8am, we went to breakfast at the food court and got Mickey waffles and they were yummy! No pics though sorry!

Since POFQ was the first disney resort that we ever stayed at, naturally, we had to take a similar picture of like what we took back in 1992!

The first time we stayed there, I was 7 and my brother was 5. Now, we're 26 and 24..crazy!!!!!!! I haven't gone into our album to compare the pic but I have plans of doing that soon haha. We took one more and headed for the car!

We drove since the plan was to do DHS for a little bit, lunch at Epcot, brother heads off to work, and mom and I take the bus back for the pool!

We got to DHS and in once again without any issues. We were a little later than usual but we still got in, in enough time!

I just love those stink'in palm trees!!!!

At rope drop, the mob headed to TSM. Since we were only staying for 3 hours, we by-passed the FP line which was already past One Man's Dream and nearing Little Mermaid. The Stand-by line was about 30-40 mins and a child had gotten sick in the line and "blew chunks". Of course that child still rode the ride..come on now!

With the puke in the way as we made our way to the ride vehicle at the top of the steps, we walked around it and headed for our ride!

As I was about to snap a pic of the scores, the screen cleared!

Bro won in our car, then mom, and I can really careless about the game but still enjoy the ride!

After TSM, we headed for TOT RnR. We got in line for TOT and started to chat with a family. The line seemed long and the wife left to check the wait time for RnR (which typically is longer) and came back to report that it was only 30 mins and TOT was 40 so we got out of line, got a TOT FP and waited 30 mins for RnR which was 30 mins and by the time we got to TOT it was 45+ so it was a good FP usage!

After our rides we decided to say by to DHS with only 3 rides done and head to lunch which was at 11:45am.

We got in the car and headed towards Epcot. Bro tried to talk his way to find a closer spot since he had to work and the parking attendant was very rude to him and said no you park where everyone else parks. Bro was fuming but we did as we were told and parked in the back lot.

We made our way in and headed for Lunch! It was our last TS of the trip and we were looking forward to it!

As we were walking in, I was thinking, was this a good choice or should we have gone to 50s instead??!!!

WOULD I REGRET MY CHOICE FOR CORAL REEF OVER 50S???
