I need MORE pixie dust! Cold is getting worse and worse. Well, I guess it is still better than being sick next week! I am just in a terrible mood and yelling at everyone. I guess I should just stay in the study and keep to myself until better!

We are all packed and I am pleased to report we fit everything for the three of us into two suitcases and one carry on day bag. I am soooo glad we don't have to lug too much stuff. Now I have room to bring that cooler full of beer!!!

I seem to recall reading somewhere that there are irons in the laundry room. Does anyone know if you can request one for the room from guest services? I don't like to idea of waiting in line to use the one in the laundry room...

Unfortunately irons can only be used in the laundry rooms on the ship. We have found that there is no line up for irons in the mornings or late in the evenings. The busiest times are, of course, near dinner.

Mth, you could always send your clothes out to be pressed. that way, no waiting in line AND no ironing .

Kcarl, go sit in the study and be nice to everyone!!! Im a lousy sick person too. I am now the only one who hasnt been sick in the past week. I BETTER not get sick.

We are all meeting on deck 10, above the Goofy pool, wearing lime green, and holding a Corona bottle(an empty one for me!!!) Am i right ladies?

I started packing today. It is soooo hard not to overpack. How many outfits are you guys bringing for yourselves?

All I want to do is pack, check in online, make my pillowcases, etc. and relish the last weekend before the trip but before I can do any of this I have to finish writing my class's report cards. I always dread report card time, but this year I hate it! I really shouldn't even be posting but desperately needed a break. I keep telling myself the cruise will be that much sweeter knowing my report cards are finished but the truth is school will be far from my mind either way.
I discovered last week a forum on disney designs, has anyone seen any designs around Disney cruises? I would love a design to iron on my kids pillowcases.

Mort... time for an update please....​

Meet is at 5PM for Sailaway on Deck 10 above the Goofy Pool midship.... on the side of the ship that is facing the terminal. A lot of us will be wearing DIS GREEN, some will be holding Coronas.... others of us will be holding another beverage of choice.....

Hope all those that are sick will recuperate quickly.... pixie dust and good thoughts coming your way... Guzzle that Airborne.. I know I am.... just in case!!

I started to get the clothes together today. Got most of the dinner outfits done... now to work on the casual stuff. DH is on his own. Most importantly... the alcohol and mixers are packed!!!!!

DisneyPinDiva...thanks for the info on the meet. Even though I'm only 1-week new to the board, this is a great place and it'd be nice to meet people in person on the ship!

I did some final shopping today for the trip...some body jewelery, tatoos, and stuff for St. Paddy's day ...my son also found some tatoos for the pirate party and we picked up a couple dozen to share with the friends he meets in the kid's club .

Anybody know if we have to bring our own markers when we drop off pillowcases to be signed...or do they have their own that they use at guest services?

MTH...at first I thought you GOT tattoos today...the permanent kind...not the temporary ones!!!!!!!

In the past when I've dropped off my pillowcases, I have included a black Sharpie marker....I know they never used it the first time as all the signatures are in different colours but the other time they were all black.

Good Morning Everyone!
OToole...I feel your pain. I can remember hours upon hours of writing out report cards! Our district went to online gradebooks this past year and now they print out for us once we enter the grades into the computer and export them. It has been a mixed blessing though, as we can only enter our grades into the system while we are at school, so we are there even later! I do think it beats writing out those cards. I am sending you some pixie dust to get through it!

MTH...sorry to hear about the tooth. I think a bad tooth ache is up there with child labor pain! I hope you can get some relief soon. Maybe they will work you in during the week so you don't have to suffer on the trip. Toothaches do not add up to vacation fun!

So many sick people out there. We have gotten over the strep throat around here (atleast I hope I am not jinxing it now!) I haven't tried the airborne, but might have to get some to try now that I hear all of your praises. I am keeping my fingers crossed that all gets well by Thursday and even have Friday as a cushion day!

We went to see Raven Symone at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. She put on a good show. She is extremely positive to the kids and her message to them seems really genuine. You can be the best! We actually enjoyed it and my dd was in heaven! We saw Hilary Duff last year and she was good too. It is fun to watch all the tweens get so excited.

Tammy, sorry you won't be with us. I am sending you my thoughts! Hope all works out.

I am packing today while watching the Andy Griffith marathon tribute to Don Knotts. My hope is that by 5pm when I have to be at church that everything is packed and the science fair project my daughter has due tomorrow is finished and in the car ready to go to school. She has been working on that project since January and now the big unveil is about here! I didn't think it would ever end

I didn't order anything from DCL, but I am going to order from Shirley. I have read wonderful things about her. I am going to order a basket for my kids to share upon arrival and then something special for my ds for his birthday Thursday. He took his first steps at WDW on his first birthday. I can't believe that has been 6 years ago already! It goes by too fast!

I'mWong...I agree with your pain rating! although my dentist does not do root canals and the endodotist she sent me to can't do it until after the cruise, I did finally find someone who is going to fix this thing on Tuesday...so it should be all good for the vaca!

I'm done packing for me and DS...my husband can't believe I have a whole suitcase to myself (we usually pack light )...oh well, he'll get over it, I'm sure! Only things left are toiletries and meds on the last day...yeah!!! It's almost here! 6 more sleeps!!
