Marceline to Magic Kingdom Tour--Getting to the MK early

So we booked the tour that begins at 8:00 am. We are staying at WL. I know boat service begins a half hour before park opening, bus service (which I've heard is sketchy at best) and hour and a half before. If we need to arrive in the MK at 7:45, what is our bet option? Should we cab it just to be safe?

You might want to confirm when you get to WL when the buses begin to run. We stayed at AoA last year and did this tour. The front desk told me technically the busses officially begin running 1hr - 1.5hr before the park opens but you can probably find one running 2hrs before the park opens.

Keep in mind if there is EMH.

Sadly, there's no reason to ask the front desk about the buses.
The resort CMs have no accurate knowledge of the transportation schedule.
(Hence the inaccurate reply of "1hr-1 1/2hr before the park opens.")

The truth is that the resort-to-park buses begin rolling about 6:30AM every day of the year.
On the rare times when some parks open at 8AM with an early AM EMH at 7AM, the buses will start
even earlier.
