The half is Jan 7 as are the 5K and family races, the full is Jan 8th.

DW will be in half marathon on Sat. Originally she was going by herself for a few days since we would be just returning from a Dec trip. We were letting my DS and her family use enough pts for a week stay at OKW in Jan but they backed out. So my little brain got to churning and before we know it, we all will be there for the marathon. DW and kids will go down Wed and I will fly down Fri. Then we return flight Sun.

jimmytammy and cruise-o-matic: I may be on the plane with both of you. I'm planning on flying out Delta from RDu on 1/4--probably the 8 pm flight, and returning Sunday--noon-ish flight, unless SW opens up its schedule and runs a sale.

I am staying at OKW--switched my studio for a two bedroom, as my sis and SIL want to come do the 1/2 with me. Thinking about bringing mom too.

We normally fly out of GSO. But if the rates are significantly lower out of RDU, we'll drive the extra hour. We'll just have to see what the SW fares are going to be.

May not be on the same plane though. We'll probably leave on a mid-afternoon flight on Thur so that we only miss 1 1/2 days of work and take the evening flight back on Sunday.

I'll try to wear something with Lime Green during the race.
