Marathon weekend September 2016

My daughter is running a half marathon in DLP and though I've hundreds of WDW stays under my belt and a dozen DL I'm finding it tricky to navigate this trip.

Perhaps someone might guide me as to what resorts are decent ( thinking moderates at WDW ) and is staying onsite best or do other resorts also work? How many days are recommended? Is 2 enough ?

woulkd say 3-4 days been first trip, and not sure about accommodation, but we have always stayed in a disney hotel, value for money ones would be Santa Fe, or hotel Cheyenne, ive always stayed in Santa Fe so i'm biased lol. Definitely 4 day stay if you planning to see the parks on a whole xx
