Marathon weekend roving reporter live trip report

Greetings Everyone: I'm taking a cue from Aaron (aka ADP), and thought I would share my trip with you all. I'm heading down to WDW this morning. My flight leaves at 8:00am, and I'm looking forward to leaving cold, wintry Rochester, NY (it's 18 degrees right now) and getting a dose of Florida sun.

Here's the scene from my neighborhood.

I'm heading down solo, and plan on combining two of my favorite things: the DIS Unplugged Podcast and my friends and teammates I've made on the WISH boards. I'm running the half marathon on Saturday, and have some plans to record some interviews and reports while I'm there for the weekend.

Greetings Everyone: I picked up my rental car. Got a great deal from Alamo for $49 for the weekend for a premium car, and drove here to WDW. I checked into the Swan about 11:30a. I unpacked, and upon Kevin's advice - washed my hands. I've now washed my hands about 3 times in the past 90 min. I'm probably turning into Howard Hughes. Hopefully, I won't get the stomach bug, but I may turn the skin on my hands to dry, bleeding pulps.
