Kicking myself for not voting for Remember the Titans or Who Framed Roger Rabbit, but too lazy to do anything about it.

I stand by D2, though.

I didn’t even think of Roger Rabbit. I feel like that is such an under appreciated movie. I remember seeing it in the theater with my cousin when it was new and being blown away. Roger Rabbit was a big part of early Disney-MGM Studios when it first opened, and was set to become a huge “star.” Who killed Roger Rabbit? Corporate greed, as none of the major players involved with the film could come to terms with licensing, etc. If you’ve never seen it, watch it.

I still have power this morning, and other than a few more inches of lake effect snow today we should be clear of the bulk of the mess. So that's one hurdle cleared. Now it's just hoping to get a decent queue placement.

I secured my Goofy bib via charity so I’m good. But I need to get DS in for Dopey (hopefully). Between the 2 of us we’ll likely have 5 devices and who knows how many browsers. After W&D I can say I’m pretty nervous about it.

We're in for WnD, planning on Princess ( Reminder: 11 month DVC res window starts next week!), and have a few other fun getaways so the coffers have run dry, as they say.

How would that work?

When this came up for the last registration, it was decided NOT to post details publicly in case rD decides to close a loophole. But tl;dr it involves digging into the code on the waiting room page and building a URL. We can't really test it until it all goes live, and then if it does work we'll probably need to communicate via DM.

I'm just trying to get the 5K and if I'm not successful I'll have zero FOMO. But it is a good way to kick off the weekend and get used to the wakeups.

Nervous.

I’m telling myself it’s not the end of the world if I don’t get in, but I’ll be disappointed. It won’t be for lack of trying - my college-age daughters have been recruited to aid in the registration effort.

Between my DD and I we will have over 30 distinct browsers going; more than double what we usually have.

Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox; all in both regular and private/incognito modes across 5 or 6 different devices.

Stupid, unfair, overkill? I hope so. This is what rD incents us to do. With no queue sharing there is little or no ethical reason not to have more browsers going. Each one is sort of a lottery ticket

Also remember to use some devices on wifi and others on cellular. That does seem to make a difference, iirc.
