Any car fans headed to Mecum auto auction while in town? DH bought our pass this morning. He is a car geek and he’s ALWAYS wanted to attend. Since it lands during marathon week every year, it’s part of my super secret long game plan to get him hooked. “Want to go to the car show again, babe? Great! I believe the marathon used to go by the McDonalds nearby so some folks would go in for McFlurries but not sure how far off the course that is now.

I believe the marathon used to go by the McDonalds nearby so some folks would go in for McFlurries but not sure how far off the course that is now.

There's a runDisney person on instagram who almost got arrested for going off course for hash browns.

They used to kind of allow spectators on that overpass and some runners had family pass things off from McDs as they went by. But it isn't an official spectator location, and rD has been more actively enforcing both spectator location and handing off items. You could try but I wouldn't count on it.

SAFD: When I joined the boards in 2008 (!!!) my daughter was 3 and she carried two stuffed Eeyores with her everywhere. One was small and the other was bigger so we called them Big and Little Eeyore.

My parents live local and have been a few times. They are elderly with mobility issues so they use scooters, but they have to charge up mid-day! It's massive.

My wife and I went last year after the 10k. Walked around way too much for having to run the half marathon the next day, but we had fun!
