That was my first Dopey as wellI really wanted that one too as it was my first Dopey - but I’ve bought so many running jackets since then…… I just couldn’t get another one right?
The 2009 Half was my first rD race, also. White moisture wicking shirt with Donald on the front. I cut the sleeves off and still haven't bothered hemming the shortened sleeves (unlike my other shirts). It has held up very well considering that I do wear it fairly often.SAFD: My oldest race shirt is from my first rD race - the 2009 WDW Half. For everyone who hates the recent shirts I will take them over the 2009 one any day - the fabric is horrible for snagging. It really did not age well at all. I now break it out only a couple of times a year. I also have an Ottawa 10k shirt from that same year (but 4 months later) that I wear frequently and is in MUCH better shape.
As for what I do with my rD shirts - I wear them a lot for winter training - quite often in layers. My issue is I have way too many long sleeve running shirts and too few short sleeve shirts so I may convert 4 or 5 of them to short sleeves to get more use out of them in the summer. For now they sit in a plastic bin (soon to be 2).
As I recall, that baguette started DATW the same height as you, but was rapidly reduced as we moved around the world.Every park: popcorn. I have so many popcorn buckets.
Epcot; the baguette from Les Halles. It is so, so good. I could (and have!) eaten a half baguette for dinner. I got a whole baguette and carried it around World Showcase during DATW this year.
I used to really like the ice cream sandwich on chocolate chip cookies that they sold at the Plaza ice cream, but I haven’t seen it on the menu in awhile and I’m not sure if it’s sold anywhere else. Obviously I haven’t looked in awhile.![]()
This is legit how I identify you to DH when discussing MW and us running together. "Nanci is the lady that had the baguette at DATW"I got a whole baguette and carried it around World Showcase during DATW this year.![]()
And I’ll do it again next year!As I recall, that baguette started DATW the same height as you, but was rapidly reduced as we moved around the world.
Truly, the highest honor. This is legit how I identify you to DH when discussing MW and us running together. "Nanci is the lady that had the baguette at DATW"![]()
This reminded me - the pretzel from Baseline Taphouse. It’s soooooo much better than the regular Mickey pretzels.SAFD:
HS: I'm all over the place at HS--popcorn, pretzel, funnel cake. If they still had it, my snack choice every time would be the french toast pretzel from Market that I had in January 2020.
