Marathon Weekend 2025

Quick running watch questions:
1) Who is leaving auto-lap on or manually lapping each mile?
2) Does anyone pause their watch for character stops or just let it run? If you pause your watch, do you do it manually or do you have your watch set to Auto Pause?
I think I leave autolap on. I stop it for character stops because I like having a record of my actual run time.

My half bib is 423xx. Fastest non pot selected. And as a refresher my 10k bib is 627xx estimated 8-10 pace (meant to put 10-12!)

And also I just picked up my youngest from school with a stomachache. Pray for me lol

I'm still trying to get my wife's registration linked to her. It's gone from my account but doesn't show up in hers yet. I've emailed support. How can she check in if she doesn't know her bib number?
YUP, that does happen and usually they will tell you that she has it, but won't see it on her account, but she will get her stuff during expo - which just sounds sketchy and scary, but trust you will be fine.

I have my bib number. How do I estimate which corrals I’m in for the races?
Thanks

Your best estimate is whatever you put down for POT or estimated pace. The bib talk right now is more to get a sense that things are lining up as expected. See chart below for how we expect it to play out for the half and full.

Interesting, at the same time, that would mean I should have a higher bib # (larger number, I should say) than @ZM73, who has a better POT than me. @ZM73, did you register on day one or later?
I registered in the last couple hours of my Club RunDisney Gold early sign-up window (6:48 pm ET on April 8th, to be exact). Truth be told, I wasn't sure I was up to it (and still not sure).

As I'm trying to avoid thinking about the snow in the forecast for DFW at the end of this week, I've instead been obsessing over thinking about food, specifically lunch post-marathon (because at least I can control something). We're staying at BWV and I am planning on walking/hobbling back to the room to get cleaned up before grabbing lunch. We're planning on doing a celebratory dinner later, but I was looking for some lunch ideas. I know there are the sandwiches at the bakery, etc., but figured I would reach out to see if anyone had other suggestions.

To piggy-back on this, there is a Corral G this year. So split the 6-7 hr estimate into Corral F 6:00-6:30 and Corral G 6:30-7:00 (and same for HM).

When we stay at the BWV or BC, I love to get lunch at Beaches and Cream if they have any tables available. :-)

Is BWV Boardwalk Villas? If so, grab a reservation at Beaches and Cream. My family and I love the burgers there and they have a really great grilled cheese with tomato bisque. Moreover, you get to spoil yourself with a sundae...or go all in with the Kitchen Sink.

1. Auto-lap
2. The times I cared about the official time, no pause and turned off auto pause to get as close to the official time. Now I leave auto pause on so I know moving versus actual time.

For Apple Watch users I recommend locking your screen. Years ago I accidentally finished a run didn't notice for at least a half mile. For the second half I had to constantly add time/miles. I think it was because I was wearing long sleeves and it somehow triggered the screen.

Also, for tracking purposes, I am running the half only and my bib is 407XX (PoT of 2:02 half submitted). DH's bib is 400XX and his PoT is a half of 1:37 (so I assume he is in A and I am in B). 💜
