Marathon Weekend 2023

I haven't tried to register for more than one race per weekend outside of a challenge in a long time - am I able to select multiple races at once and pay in a single transaction, or do I have to do each race piecemeal? Only registering myself.

You can do them all at once. Right before you go to checkout, there will be a link to add another registration. Just beware that your spots aren't secure until you fully checkout. So if you're wanting to do a race that may sell out fast, it can sometimes be a good idea to do separate transactions.

If you do separate transactions do you have to get in the que again once you check out the first time?

Castaway Cay is also listed for in-person running only for something you can register for. $96.94
But is it NOT listed under "events" or in the virtual race section at all.

Apparently it's not just a Dopey anniversary year, it's ALSO the 30th anniversary for the marathon.

POT guidelines: "If you believe you will finish the Half Marathon in 2 hours and 15 minutes (2:15) or less or the Marathon in 4 hours and 30 minutes (4:30) or less, proof of time is required for start group placement."

results must be from 1/1/19 - 9/27/22 AND SUBMITTED BY 9/27/22 (unless you register after 9/27)

  • Proof of Time must be submitted at the time of registration. You may change your proof of time until the deadline of September 27, 2022. No changes can be made after September 27, 2022. If data provided is incomplete or cannot be verified, you will be placed in the last start group.
  • No start group changes will be made after September 27, 2022.
  • If you register after the proof of time deadline you are still able to submit a valid proof of time at the point of registration. After you conclude the registration process, you will not be able to add or edit proof of time.

OMG!! I love the themes!! 100% signing up for the virtual 10K!! And maybe the 5K and Half too. Dang it, Disney, stop emptying my wallet!! 😆😆

I love all of them except for Goofy. And I am thrilled with Chip & Dale for the 10K. My best friend is thinking of doing the 10K instead of (or in addition to) the 5K and I think this will sell her on it.

Love that Chip & Dale are finally getting their race! Not quite as enthused by the 50s style throwback artwork and color schemes, but Chip & Dale make up for it!

Also love that they took feedback from this year and have expanded the PoT requirements.

I love the 90s throwback art. So fun! I was dead set on not registering for Dopey after this year's debacle. But now I'm torn. I'd like to try again for redemption, but there could also be something fun about a trip with fewer races. I hate that I need to decide so soon. I need a few more months of training to really see if the marathon and I can be friends again. I feel like deep down I know the marathon is still a long shot for me especially coming after the other three races, but there's just that pull of wanting it all (all the bling, all the shirts).

I'm sooo glad I'm working through registration cause the C&D 10K looks soooo tempting though I know that I'm going on a cruise on 1/16-1/20 so I know I won't be able to swing the extra time off and I don't know if I can justify the cost of a virtual race....

I can't wait to see all the costumes though and all the FOMO from all the 90s/Renaissance Era characters more than likely on course
