I just don't really know if that's even a possibility. The goal for 2016 was a sub-2 but that was before post-Chicago knee injury and falling on a mountain in Barcelona. I may let 2:05 hold for now and focus on sub-2 later next year when I'm 100%.

Everybody gets a freebie shirt, right? Have they publicized what it looks like? I will restrain myself and not buy anything because my house and drawers are filled with race stuff, but I would be happy with the race shirt.

Yes, each race registration includes a "free" shirt that you'll pick up at the expo. They don't seem to post pics of what they look like in advance anymore, but the first folks to see them at the expo usually post pics here and on social media.

Either they are trying to keep away e-bayers or we may not have any. Dooney has been releasing a ridiculous amount of patterns this year, so you would think that they would take advantage of this one too.

My mom pre-ordered last year (I now realize this is probably unnecessary) and they sent out an e-mail a couple weeks beforehand because they weren't going to be ready on time and offered refunds to anyone who wanted them. The alternative was to wait a couple months for them to be available to ship. She took the refund. I'm not sure what the timetable ended up being on them, but the delay last year and lack of information so far this year would have me slightly concerned about whether they will be available during Marathon Weekend at all.

I hope so, that is my one splurge I planned on this trip! The pre-orders for the Princess Half Dooneys are up on active now (sans picture) so I am getting a tad nervous there aren't going to be any. Come on runDisney Dooneys!!!

I always look forward to the marathon weekend shirts...they are long-sleeve and I like packing them to throw on as an extra layer in the parks at night, and they are a nice weight for running in on those in between temperature days

So, if I'm staying at AKL and want to see DH during the marathon at the AK parking lot.... there won't be a bus that will take me there that early, correct? He's in corral D. And will there be a bus from AK to Epcot after that?

Love the fit, fabric and weight of the runDisney long sleeve shirts! Really jealous of the 2016 Marathon Weekend runners because I like those shirts so much more than my 2015 shirts. Prefer smaller, more compact designs rather than the all-over-the-shirt designs. Fingers crossed for Dopey 2017 because that's a lot of shirts!

There won't be a bus from AKL directly to the parking lot. There will be a bus from AKL to AK and how early that starts is the wild card. You can walk from the bus drop-off at AK to the parking lot. AK opens at 9:00 but breakfast at Tusker House begins at 8:00. So..... there would most likely be early bus transportation to AK for those guests with breakfast ressies, but still think you would be cutting it close to see him at mile 14. I assume with corral D he is a sub 4:00 runner so with an assumed 5:40 or 5:45 start he would be at mile 14 between 7:30 and 8:00 AM. A lot of moving parts for the AK parking lot and probably best to plan on seeing him at Epcot with better transportation options and more time to navigate your journey.
