Is there anywhere to enter your confirmation number to get verification? I received the email and my cc was charged, but when I click on the link in the email it brings me to an active page that reads "unauthorized user."

I missed the registration for the 10k and I'll have to try again for general registration. Last year it sold out in about 1.5 hrs, I think. Can you snag multiple spots initially when you sign up (for yourself and another runner) or do you have to sign them up one at a time?

Yep, it was a chilly race weekend! This Floridian wore 2 layers for both the 10K and Half. BUT that means nothing for 2016 - our winter temps can literally be anything from 20-85!

So were everyone's predictions pretty spot on regarding sell out time? I'm glad that I now know to sign up for the 10K immediately on the 28th if I want any chance to get in.

How long do you usually have before the half sells out? I should safely be able to register for the 10k and then go grab a half spot, correct?

I think that's probably your best bet. 10Ks and Challenges go first, then the 5K and then the longer races.

So I noticed that if I click on one of the links posted here for early registration it takes me to a registration page. Can I use them and register if I am not an AP holder or member of DVC?

I can see the links too, and am highly tempted to use them for Glass Slipper Challenge registration this summer...my AP expired in February.

Ultimately I don't think I'll use them because 1. I'm a goody-goody rule follower (i.e. I know that using the early link when I don't have a valid AP or own DVC isn't the right thing to do), and 2. During registration there is a question about whether you have an AP or are a DVC member. I'm not gonna lie on the registration and say yes to those questions, so who's to say they won't decide to run a search at some point and cancel the registrations of those that answer "no" to those questions? Not saying that they actually WOULD take the time to do this, but you never know...

There should be a link on the runDisney page that says "check to see if you're registered," but I've never gotten it to work. If you have a confirmation email/number you should be good!

That's what I would do. I'm surprised there are early spots still up for grabs in the half marathon.

This link was available on my receipt page you can check. This link should show up on the run disney page once open registration happens since I don't see it there now. Oh and that link in the email never works for me either.

Congrats to everyone who got in today. I am not DVC or AP so I have two weeks to go. I am set on doing the half this year but I also wanted to do either the 5k or 10k. I did the 10k last year and have never done the 5k but can't decide which race I want to do.

allright so based on today I think our plan of attack for general registration is correct... there will be two of us on separate computers and our goals are as follows:

DW: 10k for herself, 5k for Mom, KidsRace for munchkin
Me: 5k for Myself and DW and Full Marathon for myself

6 registrations between 2 computers should be doable right? LOL

I think your mixing it up with either the full or Goofy. I don't think the half had the fastest sell out but I remember by the time the episode of Extreme Weight Loss aired in end of August all the slots were gone. While I think the full was close to full capacity but not there yet and Goofy wasn't anywhere near it. Because with the sudden increase in popular demand for slots they took a portion of the remaining Goofy slots and split them between the half and the full. Thus reopening the half for registration much to the chagrin of the people who didn't realize they were going to have to pay the newly raised prices.

And I get to relive the excitement in 2 weeks when I sign up my BRF since she'll be on vacation out of the country. I'm not sure my nerves can take it!
