Marathon Training Thread for 6/28-7/4

I did it! I met my goal of walking 2 hours yesterday and actually went an extra 10 min. for a total of 2:10 thanks to Karen's "extra challenge"! My legs were a little stiff and tired last night but not too bad. Today I probably won't have time for a walk (we're leaving for a picnic at my cousin's in a little bit) but a rest day after a long walk is probably not a bad idea.

YEAH Grammy :cheer2: a 10 mile walk yesterday :cheer2: Just think you almost did the 1/2 marathon! What an inspiration!

YAHOO Karen :cheer2: :thewave: :cheer2: You are starting to jog and you aren't hurting afterwards!!!! I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!!!!!!! You are taking small steps at a time so you don't hurt yourself and that is the way to do it! The more I try to work in the jogging the more I admire people that are joggers and runners because it is harder than walking! Good luck with getting in your 5 miles today!
