Good morning! I had another good day, yesterday. I started the late morning off with my first massage. mmmmmm. When we finished she told me a couple of more stretches to help my hip/thigh/backside. Apparently there is a muscle back there that will shorten and cause pain (along with the ITBS thingie). . . and I always thought that it was sciatica or something.
After the massage, and a quick bite, I had a long, hot bath in the jacuzzi tub. Then I zipped over for a quick visit with my mom, picking up/dropping off shopping for/from Susan.
After supper, I was determined to finish the job that didn't get started the night before-wrapping-but wait! I decided to walk. DS-20-said, "Yeah, right.
Do you know how COLD it is out there?" COLD? DD's just grinned and said, "See you in an hour or so, mom!" (Can you tell that he doesn't live with me anymore, and that I have changed myself?) Did my walk in good time, finished my wrapping and then popped a couple of ibuprofen (had been warned that I might feel a bit stiff from the massage) and headed to bed.
Now, what is it about wrapping that, just when you think that you are all done, you trip on a bag of 5 items that needs to be wrapped? And then then when you are sure that you are done, you remember that gift that you hid in the closet? And of course, just when you are positive that that is it. . . you remember. . . you haven't bought the lottery tickets yet?
Wrapping counts as cross-training, right?
