Marathon Sunday Mk crowds?

So touring plans is expecting crowds at 3/10 on Sunday, Jan 11. Has anyone ever gone to MK that day? Is that pretty accurate? I looked at last years predictions/actual and they expected 5/10 and they were 4/10. We normally skip the parks on Sundays due to crowds but due to touring plans decided to try it. (We just booked a trip less than 2 wks ago) We based our FP+ selections for the week planning on MK sunday. Hoping we didn't make a mistake! I am having second thoughts. I am an ocd planner LOL

Once inside MK you should be fine. Crowds won't pickup until after 1 p.m. They might get a little heavy in the evening. Use Disney Transportation. Expect road closures on Western Way, Osceola and Sherberth Rd. Epcot Center Dr. will be closed early morning. I-4 to World Dr. (north bound left lanes ) are pretty well open to TTC, day of marathon.

We are staying at Pop and will solely use Disney transportation. We plan on getting there around rope drop and hope to hit everything early. We do have FP+ for the 2 mountains and peter pan for the afternoon. I just couldn't get the Mine FP+. We will head there first thing I guess. Thankfully we plan on going back to MK on Thursday. Thanks
