Marathon question

I wasn't sure where to post this question so here it is. Does anyone know if sports massages are offered after the Disney marathon at or near the finish? I was hoping not to have to make an appointment at one of the spas. I can imagine I would need to schedule one now (4 months out) if they are not available at the finish.

Hi Dave, and welcome to the DIS!

When we ran it in 2004 we were unaware of any massages offered near the finish or after the race. We made an appointment at one of the spas on property ahead of time, as you suggest.

I don't recall any (been there several times). But I have always been focused on "finished, get my stuff, get showered and get to Epcot for a margarita!" after each race.

You might check on the race website...and I think there is an email address for questions like that (emmi@XXXXX something).
