DisneyDay6131.jpg

Wok-Fried Green Beans - battered green beans, sweet Thai chili dipping sauce.
Seared Ahi Tuna - chilled, sesame-encrusted ahi tuna, wasabi aioli, and sweet chili slaw.
Sorry the pictures are of half eaten food, we forgot to take a picture right away. The green beans were addictive.

Entrees
DisneyDay6133.jpg

MalAsian Seafood Curry - Mahi Mahi, scallops, little neck clams, mussels, shrimp, zucchini, roma tomatoes, red curry coconut broth, and jasmine rice.
I was a little disappointed with the curry. There wasn’t that much of the curry, the bowl was filled mainly with rice, and the curry wasn’t as flavorful as I hoped.

DisneyDay6134.jpg

Shaoxing Steak and Shrimp - skirt steak, tempura-battered shrimp, jasmine rice, stir-fried vegetables, chili plum dipping sauce.

Dessert
DisneyDay6135.jpg

Fried Wontons - Skewers of fresh pineapple and cream cheese wontons, vanilla ice cream, honey vanilla drizzle.
Chocolate Cake - Chocolate pudding cake, raspberry sauce.

The desserts were great. The chocolate cake was moist and fudgy, way better than the one I had at Les Chefs.

This is a great option for dining while at the Animal Kingdom and we scored it 4/5.

I don't think I would pay out of pocket for the lobster, it is pretty pricey, but it is definitley a good value on the dining plan, even with it using 2 credits per person. This was our second trip to Narcoossee's and I would go back again, the food, service , and atmopshere are all wonderful. We also enjoyed watching the electrical water pageant parade out the window. We rated Narcoossee's 5/5.

Oh, how I long for those FF mussels!!!! That was one of the best dishes I have ever tasted. The pork looks amazing, too! I don't think that was on the menue when we were there.

Narcooosssee's looks amazing. I'm loving your marathon! Thanks for taking the time to write the report.

We went on the Wild Africa Trek and this was provided to us as a morning snack.

DisneyDay8178.jpg

POG juice (passion, orange, guava), meat, brie w/ dried apricots, smoked salmon, mini pita halves, fruit, yogurt with granola, and a fig bar. It was all very tasty.
If you have the opportunity to go on this tour I highly recommend it.

Was this enough for lunch? It's hard to judge the size, but was it more of a light lunch or filling snack? I'm trying to decide between breakfast or lunch at Tusker House on our Wild Africa Trek day. I would rather have lunch for the food variety, but not sure if it would be too much food around lunchtime. What was your experience?

Again, thanks for your reviews!

It is really just a snack, each item is just a few bites. We still ate lunch at Flame Tree afterwards. I think if you have a couple hours between the snack and lunch you will be fine. One tip I would give is to not spend too much time eating. You only have a limited amount of time at the snack stop and you have a wonderful view from there. It seems like the time went by too quickly and we spent too most of it eating.

we are hoping to do the wild africa trek in October, I think the food looks tasty, what kind of meats were in it?

I think is was something proscuitto like. That is the only item I didn't try since I am not a big meat eater.

This is my last food review with pictures.

Boma
Sorry I don’t have any pictures of Boma, We ate here twice, once for breakfast, and once for dinner, we scored both meals 5/5.
The highlights at Boma for us were the soups at dinner, we really enjoyed both the carrot ginger and curry seafood stew. For breakfast the grilled tomatoes and quinoa breakfast porridge stood out.

Snacks
Since we were already stuffed from all of our meals we didn’t have room for a lot of snacks so we ended up using a lot of our snack credits on treats to bring back home. We cashed out our credits at Goof’s Candy Kitchen and Karamell Kuche.
DisneyDay3360.jpg

The oatmeal apple caramel cookie, milk chocolate salted caramel, and caramel roll with marshmallow cream were our favorites. I thought the caramel corn tasted good, but there were too many unpopped kernels.

DisneyDay7364.jpg

I enjoyed the peanut butter cup and toffee.

Uh oh! I should not have ready your reviews - especially the yummy bakery case photos - before breakfast. Now I'm craving an oatmeal apple caramel cookie. :rotfl2: Seriously, all of your dining photos are awesome and I thank you for sharing! :goodvibes
