FYI...Expedia.ca is showing a good deal on a direct US Air flight from Syracuse to Orlando for the March break March 12-19,2005.
I have been monitoring prices since it was posted and it has now dropped almost $200 per person to $434.58 Canadian including taxes and booking fees. I went ahead and booked as my husband and I fly out of Syracuse Hancock Airport regularly each March break and have had great experiences. Last year we flew Air Canada from Pearson because we could fly from Kingston and NEVER AGAIN! Three out of our four flights were late and due to an Air Canada Scheduling change after I had booked we had a 6 hour lay over in T.O. We could have driven home faster!
Even with the two hour drive to Syracuse, I would rather fly from Syracuse. The direct flight times are only 2 hours and 38 minutes each way. The only other direct flight from Syracuse to Florida is Trans-Meridian and they fly into Orlando Sanford Airport. They are unable to tell me when they will post their flights for March
2005.
