Hello All! A little about us- we are taking a b2b western/eastern and will be joining you all. It will be me- birthday celebration (50) :bday: DH- who indulges my love of all things Disney, DD 17- about to graduate from HS and getting one more cruise in before turning 18, DD 16- just along for the ride!:cool1:
Thinking about doing FE this time- has anyone started that yet? Hope you are all as excited as we are about the cruise- see you in less than a year!
Time to start packing!:hourglass:

Welcome! We did the Fantasy last summer for my oldest son's graduation and 18th birthday.

I want to be part of a FE exchange. We did our first one last month and it was great!

We are going to be joining you on the cruise. Let me introduce myself and my family... me (Jody,41), DH (Travis, 42) and DS, 15. The story goes that I booked a cruise when I did a mother/daughter trip with my mom in 2009 and then kept moving the date because I couldn't get DH to agree to go on another Disney Cruise, DS has been bugging me since last year to go again just so he can hang at the Vibe. To make a long story short, he has some friends that are taking their kids to WDW in August :crazy2:and needed some advice, I suggested a cruise so that everyone is happy and he starts thinking about all the good times we had on the Wonder and then the Dream. Anyway the next day I start checking, find this date that works perfectly for my son's spring break. I move our date... mention it to a couple of friends and now they are coming along as well:cool1:

Hello, all! We, myself (Katie) and my DS12, just booked this cruise while we were onboard the Fantasy last week! Needless to say, it was an amazing ship and we had the best vacation we have ever experienced! We met wonderful folks from our cruise meet group which made it as special as it was. We are looking forward to getting to know all of our future cruise mates here. :)

Hi everyone. We are me, adult dd, dd 12 and dd 9 (at time of cruise). I only discovered Disney-world in October 2011 just before I was booked for a surprise major surgery. Since then we have done the four day Dream cruise (first cruise ever) end of last August, 2012 and just got back form eight days at Disney over our spring break. I've decided that life is too short not to live and enjoy. Friends are supposed to go on the cruise with us and they have a dd who will be 8 at sailing.

Hi!

My daughter Allie (will be 10!) and I, together with a school friend and her mom, just sailed on this same cruise this past March 16, 2013. We all had such a great time that we booked on board for a repeat cruise in 2014! It will be our third Moms-and-daughters Disney Cruise. We sailed on the Dream in March 2012.

Has anyone started a Fish Extender game for this cruise yet? We LOVE fish extender gift exchanging :)

Cheers!

Karen

Hi again,

For the last two cruises I was on the Meet (and FE thread) moved over to Facebook for privacy (esp when the tweens and teens wanted a safe place to chat) and also ease of posting sign-up spreadsheets for the FE groups (we had three form this past March as folks wanted to join in all the way up to the last week). The DIS boards were updated regularly to be sure anyone not on Facebook would not get left out.

I am not an old hand at this but I think setting up our FE group almost requires something like Facebook? Folks need to give out a lot of information such as cabin numbers and names and ages of children. On this past cruise our FE organizer posted a spreadsheet that we could add our own data to. Made it very easy to update it when cabin numbers changed or were assigned etc.

Hello everyone! My family and I will be joining you for this cruise. This will be my DH, DD and I's 3rd cruise and my DS's 2nd cruise. In March 2012, we cruised to the Mexican Riviera with DCL and everyone enjoyed themselves so much that we booked onboard. Then the day that the 2014 cruise dates came out we moved our booking to 2014 for the kids' spring break. At the time of the cruise, DS will be 17 and DD will be 15.

My DH and I's 1st cruise was to the Western Caribbean so we are excited to take the kids to the Mayan Ruins in Cozumel. Other than that, we don't think we'll be booking any other excursions. We've traveled on the Magic and the Wonder, but not on the new boats yet. We're excited about the Aquaduck.

Hopefully, three times is a charm and I won't get horrible seasickness! I've tried the patch and Dramamine and they were no help! The Patch actually made me sicker.

We'll be interested in the Fish Extender program too.

I have used Bonine for motion sickness since I was little and it has always done the trick. Dramamine makes me sleepy, nervous and sick.

You can do it with google docs. And it doesn't have to be thru Facebook. My cruise in February did it all thru DIS and just had people PM the info to the person in charge, who then emailed them the link that they could update as needed themselves. There was also a Facebook group but that was more for friendship forming, not FE stuff.

We just booked this cruise! (We being my DH Henry & DD Sarah.) We just returned from the Fantasy Eastern in February & booked the same cruise for Feb 2014, but switched to this one so that DD, who's a teacher, could come with us. We LOVED the Fantasy & can't wait to be on it again! Does anyone know if there is a Facebook group for this cruise yet?

Hi

I just sent a FB friend request but I am not sure if I sent it to the right place. If you get a request from Karen Brush that is me :)

Karen

Hi Karen, so :scratchin... just wondering :confused3... are you volunteering yourself to be :coffee: "Fish Extender Co-ordinator?" :wave2: ;)

While I'm not really looking to organize a FE group (If needed I can), but I did put together a nice pdf map to make delivering less of a pain. I would love to do another for this cruise if interested.
