Maps or a chart somewhere? VWL strategies?

Is there a current copy of WDW transportation routes somewhere? I have an old pamphlet from Jan 2001, and I know that many of the routes have changed, esp. at VWL, where we will be staying in just 2 short weeks....

Any VWL veterans who care to share their wisdom -- what are the biggest transportation "traps" around right now at that resort (i.e. the bus that is always way too packed, or stops at 3 different places before it gets you to your destination; the route that doesn't run a full schedule so you wait for a ride that doesn't exist at that time, etc!) One person mentioned using the bus to TTC and then use monorail or other bus from there.... any other ideas?

THanks!

CIndy

WL changed its system in April. Basically, it is this:

1. There is a boat to MK as before; in off-seasons that boat is shared with FW.

2. There is, as before, a bus that runs the TTC-WL-FW loop, it is not called Boone or Crocket anymore. There is also as before a boat that runs the Cont-WL-FW loop.

3. Busses to parks (other than MK which is by boat) and Downtown Disney are no longer shared with Poly and GF. They are now shared with FW (only one stop there). Some run FW to WL to park to FW; others run WL to FW to park to WL and often, particularly coming back from a park, you do not know whether the particular bus will stop at FW or WL first. The bus to AK also stops at BB and the bus to DD may during the day also stop at TL; otherwise when going to or from a park you don't have any stop in between except FW for some of the busses. Morning rush hour busses, when those come from FW to WL before going to a park, can be fairly filled when they arrive. As with all resorts, coming back from a park at closing time means a packed bus.

Busses to any park and boats to MK are supposed to come every 20 minutes and often faster at morning rush; nevertheless delays sometimes occur.

We just got back from WLV. Transportation was a challenge to say the least. We somehow managed to always be on the boat or bus that went to FW first. Only one occasion did we get directly to the MK. There are no dedicated boats for WL even in season. They are shared with FW. Our experience was to leave at least an hour for getting anywhere(unless your lucky to hit the boat that you are the second stop and heads to MK)
We ended up taking cabs to dinner with PS since we couldn't count on the timing of transportation.

How do you return to WL after e-night? (I presume the boats are no longer running at that late hour.)
