Park Maps on the DIS

The DIS has lots of great info on WDW. If you haven't already, do some browsing on www.wdwinfo.com - you might be surprised at all you'll find.

Like Olaf, I thought the restaurants were marked on the maps - I checked the MK map and thought all were similar. NOT! The MK and AK maps on the DIS do have the restuarants marked, but the maps for EPCOT and MGM do not.

those are OLD maps CarolMN thanking for finding them.

Disney use to put everything on their maps - restuarants, shops plus the attractions.

a few years ago they stopped and only put the attractions.

I really feel for anyone new. because some of those restuarants are not easy to find - especially without a map.

The really old maps of MGM had a big hidden mickey on it in the huge area in front of the Chinese theater. In fact... if you look at old satellite pictures of MGM... you could see the "big hidden Mickey".

Now that the hat is in the area... I am not sure it is still there. When I looked at one of the satellite images (I think google)... I could not find it anymore.

I strongly recommend the ABC Commissary in MGM. It is reasonable in price (relatively speaking of course) has a good selection of real foods, and seems to be a hidden jewel and always quiet compared to the the other restaurants.
