Mapping of road fatalities

looked my area up
doesnt suprise me that nearly all of them died on motorbikes,
I live in a village and theres some national speed roads, people think they can take them at 60+ mph but you cant theyre tricky and leathful in ice (as we dont gte gritted)
unfotunatly the last one earlyer this year was a motorbike hitting at tractor at 60mph, you can magine the result

so sad

I'm actually surprised but the lowish number for my county. I'm also surprised that cars greatly outnumber motorcycle fatalities. The major thing I noticed was that most of them were also 1 vehicle involvement, makes you wonder how they were driving. As i'm in the ambulance service I think a fatal RTC is one of my worse nightmares as there isn't much you can do whereas other things we have a chance of saving the person.

Its sad:sad2:

Looked my area up too and the first one I clicked on was a friend of mine who was a Taxi driver and was killed in a car crash in January 2008.
Accident was not his fault.

I knew about the indident but it was a shock when I saw it just now.
