Map Question

Anyone know where I can get a map from that shows where you can walk from a resort to a park or DTD to a park etc. I read in some threads you can walk from place to place, but don't want to get lost walking!

You would need to look at the resort maps for the following resorts:

CR (walk to MK)
Poly (walk to TTC for easy monorail access)
SSR (walk to DTD)
OKW (longer walk to DTD)
Epcot resorts: BW, BC, BCV, YC, Swan, Dolphin (walk to Epcot and DHS)

You can also walk back and forth between FW and WL, as well as between Poly and GF, or POR and POFQ.

Other than that, you can't really walk from a resort to an attraction area, even though it looks possible. If you are allowed and safely able to walk, there will be signs posted and a designated walkway. There are a few brave souls who try to walk from CBR to the Epcot resorts, in order to walk to Epcot and DHS. Physically, you CAN do it, by exiting the corner of the parking lot and crossing two streets (there are crosswalks, but no sidewalk until you are across Buena Vista Drive), but it's not really a good idea.

If I were to catch the ferry from International Gateway to the resorts which does it go to first - Boardwalk or Beach Club?

I think it goes to Boardwalk first, then YC/BC. However, unless you have mobility issues, it is just as easy and usually much faster to just walk from IG to either of those resorts (it's only a 5 - 10 minute walk to either).

Oh right - think I'll walk it then! Are there signposts pointing the way for footpaths around the various places you can walk from one point to another?

I don't know of any maps with walkways. But 2 great websites:

(Be sure to delete the spaces.) Willcad has maps of the parks and resorts, while mousesteps is actual walks taken by the creator of the website. Mousesteps has lots of great pix too.

I know there are signs for the MK walkway to CR. I don't recall signs for the walkway to Epcot from any of the Epcot resorts, but it's pretty self explanatory - you really can't miss Epcot. There are signs directing you to the Studios walkway, because it's harder to find where that one starts. I know there are signs at SSR for DTD, but I don't remember if there are at OKW or not.
