Map of disney and area

HI, I was looking at a map of disney and surrounding area and I was wondering what all the grey area was to the left side. I know Grand California hotel is on that street that runs up thru the grey area but just wondering if you can walk thru that grey area? Sorry if this is confusing but we are looking at renting a house and wondering if we can walk thru that grey area or we have to walk around. Does anyone know how far S. Stoneman street is from Disneyland and W. Brande Avenue? I am also looking at ART and resort shuttles to see if they would take us part of the way back if we are tired. Thansk for any help!!

No "grey areas" - maybe that portion of the map hasn't loaded yet. You can only get to Walnut St and points west via Magic Way or Katella Ave. The rest of DLR is walled off. It's a mile or so to Stoneman and I'd recommend catching a taxi at GCH or the Harbor Blvd tram area. Brande is further from DLR - is that another rental?

I would use Google earth and type in the address of where you are going to stay. Then use the ruler to see how far it is to Disneyland...

I can see now that there were parking lots where the map was "grey".
