We are driving to WDW next Sept(SIGH!! seems so far away)
We will be getting the new I-75 book for the trip down.
My DGS loves reading maps(he's 8)and would love to get him a map of some sort, that's easy to manage and he can follow on the trip down. Seeing as the I-75 book is rather pricey to be buying two copies, does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can get a relatively inexpensive version for him. I don't
belong to CAA so can't get one from them(or can I buy a trip-tik map even though I'm not a member?)
Any help or advice would be great.

I also purchased the I-75 book for our trip in 2002. It was extremely helpful and I won't do this route again without it in my vehicle.

Anyway I thought about my 2 back seat drivers (sons aged 13 and 9 at the time) and how they would want their own map. I purchased another map of the US and then took a highlighter and highlighted our route down.

They kept their map in the pocket next to their seats and were able to follow along.

Hopefully next year when we go my 16 year old can sit in front and navigate with DH while I sneak a nap in the back with my 12 year old.

:faint:

Thanks for all your suggestions and hints. The websites
are very helpful. I know my DGS will enjoy following
the route. I sort of know the way down, but a bunch
of family members are going together in a sort of
caravan with my brother and his family taking the
lead.
