Many Surprizes & We Are Home at OKW!

Cannot believe it but it all worked!! We have been having a really tough time at work and I looked at DH and said - l wish we could go home to OKW and he said - lets go. I called MS a week ago and got a room for today for a week! First surprize came through. Well I booked it and then went on a frenzy to get plane tickets and ready to go. The best part is the kids finished school yesterday and we never told them we were going to OKW!! We got up this AM and they thought I was going to NYC for a business trip and wanted to go to airport to see me off. It worked perfectly. We were at gate as we wondered how to tell them (DS 6 and DS 7) when the gate agent who knew DH came up to us with new boarding passes for first class! I looked at the boys and said you will not believe this - that guy gave us tickets for you and we are going on this plane together, the looks on their faces will be in my mind forever!! We got on and they were actually excited to go to New York City. We changed planes there and then I said I could not go to a meeting with them and looked in ticket envelope and there were tickets in our name to Orlando - the happy dance and yell went on for a few minutes at LGA!! We went on the whole trip about no suitcases and all, and not until we were to go on tram to terminal did we tell them this was all planned. The hugs and everything will be a memory for a lifetime for our family! We got our luggage - even one that did not come out on the belt. We went to lost luggage area and there it was - another surprize! We went to National EA and got our car from home - a gold Chrysler LHS!! Now on to OKW. We made this ressie last week - requested a specific building and got it - another pleasant surprize. We are settled in - we did a nice dip in the pool and on to bed for early entry at MK in am. Everything here is great and the welcome home is evident more than usual. We hope for more pleasant surprizes but are content with the luck now. We have a week and will be checking in here at DIS so if any questions - ask away. I thought fires are out but we smell faint burning smell in air. I cannot imagine how bad it must of been as know rain was here all week - but surprize - none today!!!inkbounc

By the way, are you guys from Niagara Falls on the Canadian side or the American side? I was born there, on the Canadian side of the border. I always love to go back to visit.

We did a last minute trip just about 4 weeks ago! What a blast we had. It was also our first trip home to OKW. I wish I could have kept the secret from my DD's but I got so excited I would have just burst.

The look on the kids faces when we told them we're heading 'home' to OKW - priceless.

Wow - just checked in and saw the replies to this thread - thanks guys, you made our day!! It has been a great trip and we are inside for the afternnoon downpour and then on to Blast and Illumniations. Your kind remarks also make this a special trip. Thank you! Any questions while we are here?
One point I forgot on first post - when we walked out of MCO we walked outdoors to a DCL Bus parked and flashing VIP's. The kids were jumping up and down again and I didn't catch it for a second but they thought they were getting on the cruise bus. Well - we can do a surprize again and walk on a bus and it will work!! They are thrilled now, couldn't imagine we could control the excitement with a cruise too!inkbounc inkbounc
