many questions on cabanas?

I just read somewhere that RPR has cabanas. Is this true and if so, how do you go about renting one? How much are they? What hours do you rent them for? What do you get with it? The reason I'm interested is because our family will be driving straight through from PA and none of us will have had any sleep for 17 hrs. I know we won't be able to check into our room at the time we arrive(possibly noon) and thought maybe this would be our answer. We plan on letting the two older kids go into the parks/or swim while me and my husband find a place to rest. Any info would be helpful. Thank you.

I called on the cabanas the other day.

I called the hotel directly and they put me through to the "gymnasium".

They have 3. He recommended #2-the other 2 have hot tubs in front of them-not directly in front of them.

They are around $75 for a whole day and $35 or $45 for a 1/2 day. The prices are much cheaper if you are staying club level.

I left my phone number and reserved one for 3 days straight all day.

They come with a fruit basket, mini fridge with soda and water and I think he said a tv-of course, chairs.

They look pretty nice from the pictures I have seen. I think they should have more.

I'll post anything else if I can think of it.

We just returned from RPR . The hours for the cabanas are 8A.M. -10 P.M. for the whole day at $75.00. They included 2 lounge chairs inside,TV, ceiling fan, small frig.,fruit basket, water and sodas. The half day is from 8-3 or 3-10 for $45. They are smaller than the Hard Rock and Portifino cabanas which have the same amenities, except inside has 4 chairs and a table and then outside are 2 reserved lounge chairs for you. Much more room for the money. At RPR, try to get the cabana that does not have the hot tub in front of them if you are seeking privacy as people will be right outside your cabana. Of course you can always drop down the side walls to enclose yourself. Call ahead to reserve if you are thinking about it, you can cancel the night before without penalty if you change your mind. Hope this helps.
