Hi to any CM's who read this!
I am completely ignorant about where the reservation centers are, but 2 days ago I tried to book a vacation package online. It was extremely difficult to do and the system got the names all wrong. I called the reservation line and got Elmer. He was WONDERFUL! So kind, so friendly. I told him that while we were on the trip, we'd be celebrating (the actual dates, mind you), my son's 7th birthday, my 40th birthday and my husband's and my 11th wedding anniversary (we're traveling Aug. 13 - 18, staying at the Contemporary for the first time!
). You'd think that I'd told Elmer that he'd won the lottery. He was so excited and thrilled to be helping me out. We decided to just cancel out the web reservation and start from scratch. Well, the stupid system never cancelled the web res. I called in this morning to cancel it, and they ended up canceling Elmer's reservation instead. I am worried that the agents get credit for the booking and I asked that he please get the credit for it, but I don't know for sure that he will. I sent an email to guest relations to let them know how wonderful Elmer was, but I wanted to post here as well.
If there's a chance that any of you CM's who read this know who Elmer is, please pass along my many, many thanks! I just hope I didn't cost him any credit is he very much do. I will NEVER book online again!!
