Manta shut down today

Probably a little late but Manta was shut down all day today. I asked a few people when it might be running again and they had no idea. We rode Kraken though for the first time and that was really fun.

That is something that parks will not release as to whether or not a ride will be back up or not as they don't want to dissapoint guests. Are you going to be able to go back and ride it? Probably the best ride in orlando that i have ridden thus far.. Although mummy was a favorite as well.

I hope it's only temporary. We're headed out there in October and this is one ride I'm really looking forward to riding. You'll have to let us know if they opened it back up and you got to ride it.

It was probably a small maintenance issue. Im sure it will be back up and running by October.

I just checked the refurbishment schedule on SW's website. It says Manta will be closed Mon. Sept 13th to Fri. Sept 17th for maintenance. We planned on going the 15th!!

Oh, man, I'm bummed. Now I have to decide if we should reschedule for Sat. the 18th. It'd be more crowded but at least we could ride Manta.

I'm glad I came into this thread, we're in Florida Sep 9 - 16 so I'll just make sure I get to SeaWorld at least once before the 13.

I drove by today and didn't see it running although I didn't watch for long as it is hard to see from the outside (street). We might go back tomorrow or to Aquatica depending on the weather.

It's running again. I went to Aquatica and it starting running around noon.
