And as far as I am concerned, and I'm sure if I had time to look for stats I could find some to back this up, people who won't hold back their anger on a baby animal, will most likely not hold back on a child either, like that lunatic in Zion IL who snapped and stabbed his own precious child and her friend to death.

People who have no empathy or sense of control when it comes to harming the defenseless are dangerous. They deserve jail time. I have NO doubt that this man would have gone after a child if he'd say, tripped over a childs toy in the park.

No empathy. No sense of right and wrong. No control over ones angry outbursts. = Bad and dangerous combination.

I'm sure you are right on this. I've read something along those lines before. So sad. Those poor little girls in IL. The father had a 15 year hx of criminal behavior/anger issues. I don't remember the details. Most recently he charged at his neighbors with a chainsaw. (!!) And had to be subdued from behind. That's so far out there, so extreme. How in the world did he not go to his anger management classes without some legal ramifications?

I'm sure the guy that stomped those birds has shown some volatile behavior in his past as well. I wish law enforcement would get tough with these people. But alas, their problems run deep too.

Cases like the goose stomper are terrifying to me because these people are the sort who later hurt people. They have no control. I don't doubt that this man has had his temper go off before like this.

As far as hearing his side of the story, he and his family have stated his side of the story. The mother goose hissed at him. He felt threatened, so he decided to stomp on the goose and the goslings
