Manifest

Honestly, I used to watch that show, but thought it got cancelled. :confused3

I really liked it, though, so thanks for the heads-up! - I just Googled and found out Netflix made another season on their own. I'll look for it.

It got a little top strange for me and I quit in maybe season 2 or 3. I really liked it in the beginning.

I stopped watching after season 1 when it looked obvious that Michaela was going to dump Jared after sleeping with him and breaking up his marriage to her former best friend and get with that other guy.

So I tried to watch season 4 last night on my iPad, and got a weird error that it couldn't play it. I went back and re-watched the last episode of season 3, and it worked fine, so I don't know what was up. Maybe I'll try again on the main TV.

When did it change from network tv to Netflix? I thought I watched 2 seasons but not I'm not sure. I will have to rewatch as it was several years ago that I watched it and I doubt I remember enough to pick up at Season 3.

Well now I'm excited! I honestly didn't know, I love the show but it thought it was canceled. It feels like a while since they released the last episodes

Main TV worked fine...and now I'm 5 or 6 episodes in.:rotfl: (I watched the last couple on the iPad, too, so that must have just been a glitch.)

So glad I ran across this thread!

I think it was around 2020. i believe season 3 was airing on broadcast TV when the first 2 seasons dropped on Netflix. Broadcast TV then cancelled and Netflix picked up the rights to film season 4.

Season 3 ended on one heck of a cliffhanger, and then the network announced it was cancelled. Manifest fans launched a HUGE campaign to save the show, everything from petitions to Twitter outcries. But what actually worked was, the first 2 seasons were already on Netflix, with the third added shortly after it finished airing on broadcast. Fans POURED their time into streaming the show on Netflix, which meant the algorithm saw it as an incredibly popular show, which meant it started showing up on everybody and their brother's recommended shows. Which brought in tons of new fans. It ended up being the top rated show on Netflix for some crazy number of weeks. So after initially passing, Netflix decided to pick it up after all, for a super-sized final season.

We're rewatching the entire series ahead of the final episodes. So glad we are, because we're picking up on tons of clues and breadcrumbs from even the earliest episodes to lead us to where we are now. Super excited to see how it all wraps up!!

Thanks for the heads up! Will have to go back & watch the last episode or two to refresh my memory of what happened last season.
I have no idea of how the last episode ended. Also I think I’m out of my daughter’s Netflix account so I have to open an account. Manifest to me got so far fetched but I want to see it thru.

We started it not to long ago. Just watched episode 5 of season 3. Honestly the Jacob Stone character is starting to get on my nerves a little bit. I told my wife though I bet it ends lamely kind of like Lost did.

Are you talking about the end of Season 3 or the end of the first half of Season 4? Season 3 ending memory jog: Grace. Season 4 first half memory jog: Zeke. Have fun catching back up! I love this show.

I guess I'll give it a go since I'm out of other shows to binge. I'm only hesitant because I was very invested in Lost and the show just went over a cliff and the ending was a non-ending and I felt duped after so many years.
