Got my gel nails filled in for $25 plus tip yesterday in North Georgia. How much does that service run you where you live?

And what is the dipped nails technique? Better or not?

Around $30 for a gel manicure, $20 for a regular, $35 for ANC/dip. I'm in Upstate New York.

Dip tends to last longer and is a little thicker and much harder feeling than gel. It's more like acrylics - you'd need to get them done because they'd grown out too much, not because of chipping. The con is that removing it is a pain, takes forever, and tends to destroy my natural nails.

I get a gel manicure every 2 weeks 6 months out of the year, currently $35 - Middletown, Delaware.
I get a regular manicure every 4 weeks the other 6 months, but I'm sorry I can't recall what that is.

$45 for a gel before tip in the FL Panhandle. I think dip is $50. After seeing the prices in here, I’m thinking I should find another salon 😂

Regular $18
Gel $35
Dip Powder $40
at the salon in my neighborhood. Tampa Bay, FL
the dip powder ruined my nails, after they badgered me for months into trying it. I don't recommend.

My manicurist also recommended dip, and while I liked the durability and sparkles (I’m a glitter gal, and dip-it powder can have a lot of glitter lol), she got in a car accident and my appointment was postponed by a week. I was already pushing it on my time between appointments, and the dip set is so heavy that when it cracked it cut through my nail to my nail bed. It was so painful. So I definitely wouldn’t recommend a dip manicure if you don’t religiously go in and get a refresh.

18$ for a regular manicure; 23$ for gel at my small North Shore MA shop. Pedicure goes from 35$ to 75$ based on services.

My gel fill ins last two weeks, how long does a dipped one last?

Regular manicure $13, gel $25, we have tons of Asian nail salons, Jersey girls are into nails (just not this one).

Regular here starts at $25 and that's at a strip mall type place, a salon starts at $40 just for a regular mani.

Dip is acrylic powder with the color in it - I can go until the nail bed grows out on dips - the "polish" lasts for eternity (In two years of regular dips I had them chip twice - and I would garden in them). I currently have acrylics because I'm healing my cuticles (pandemic stress and I ate them). I like dips better than acrylics, but don't want the powder near my nails until my cuticles are healthy - and once my cuticles get healthy it will be time for six months or more of natural nails with a natural manicure. Gel doesn't last on my natural nails. My fill and gel yesterday was $40 plus tip. (Twin Cities Minnesota)

I think a dip manicure is $40 at the salon I usually go to because the pedicure is $40 so with tip it's usually $90 total. I only get dip since regular manicures ($20) chip within a day on my nails and gels ($35?) don't last a week.

Wow, my nail salon is a little pricier, but I have had great experiences so far. Their regular mani is $35, gel mani is $42. They also offer packages for regular customers that provide some discounts to those prices.

Regular manicure $30 plus tip, gel manicure $45 plus tip, dip powder mani $50 plus tip.

This is in southern CT.

Upstate NY here.

$30-35 for a gel
$40ish for a dip

If I get a mani, it's always gel just for how long it lasts and I never have to worry about chipping. Never tried a dip, but open to it.
