Hi all!
I'm trying to actually plan out all the nitty gritty logistics now...have booked Carolyn Allen's for the tux fitting and the steaming...

I wanted to treat my FMIl and FAIL (Aunts in law) to a manicure...the thing is I think I would need to do it on Wednesday before some of my family start arriving as we're all having b'fast together at Chef Mickey's on Thurs and it might get a bit awkward in case my SIL asks us what we're all doing after breakfast and FMIl says "oh, well Lori's treating us to manicures..."

The other thing is...I was thinking Periwig's and I think they are actually cheaper than the other salons...but we're not going to be anywhere near Epcot or YC really on Thursday...after Chef Mickey's I figured we'd all do MK (not all necessarily tied at the hip or anything) and then the Meet and Greet dinner is The Safari Dinner at AK....

So, basically....hypothetically...what do you all think of getting your manicure on Wednesday if your wedding is not until Friday? (MK and EPCOT photo session in the AM and then wedding at 12:30pm)

If I do a top coat etc...do you think I'll be fairly safe? Opinions please! I'm hoping not to have any chips etc..for my wedding day! When I get my manicure done at home....I usually can go almost a week without it starting to look yucky..

Anyone? Anyone?

Thanks all! You're the best!!:flower3:

Wed is not too bad of a time line. If I could have done it the morning of my wedding I would have because I can't keep my nails nice to save my life.

One thing though, I would bring your own color for your nails so that if for some reason one looks funny, or it cracks you can fix it with the same color and not have to run back to the salon.

I used the GF salon, but they can only give one manicure at a time.

I would see about bringing a manicurist to your hotel room the morning of the wedding. You are going to be having close up shots of your hands. I would think you would want your nails glossy and beautiful.

I think it all depends on how comfortable you are with not messing your nails up... If you are getting the acrylic I would get solar nails just because that way they won't chip if you are looking at just doing "french" or what not..! WAY harder to mess up!
