Me (Mandy) - 43 - Searching for some Bahama Mamas
DH (Paul) - 42 - Searching for some peace and quiet
DD1 (Kerry 16) & DD2 (Becky 14) - Searching for Hollister Stores
Wednesday 18th July
We were up around 7ish and set off for Islands of Adventure. We arrived for 8.45am and the gates were open, and I can honestly say that I have never seen so many people there (and we have been there during the Christmas/New Year holiday). There were loads of Brazillian tour groups there.
We were lucky enough to ride The Hulk twice before the lines got too busy. We thought we would escape the crowds and head over to Duelling Dragons, unfortunately one of the huge groups decided to do the same thing. When we got there Fire was down, so we were only able to ride Ice twice.
It was incredibly hot, so we rode Jurassic Park and then left the park.
We stopped at the new Wal-Mart to pick up some cold remedies for Becky and then went back to the Pop.
Later in the afternoon we went to DownTown Disney to see Harry Potter and Order of the Phoenix. I was really disappointed in the movie, as Ive read the books, I cant help picking out the differences and when we came out Paul just looked confused.
The girls wanted to go back to the room as they werent feeling hungry and Beckys cold was getting her down, so once they were settled back at the room, Paul and I went out to dinner.
We fancied trying somewhere different, so we went to the China Jade up on International Drive. It was a Chinese buffet style meal, and we really enjoyed it as there was a good selection there.
On the way back to our room, we picked up some Chicken Strips for the girls and we started packing for the Cruise.
Sorry, there are no photos for today, so here's a couple from the Disney Cruise Line terminal from tomorrow morning.
