Wednesday 9th June ~ High 90'sF

I was up around 7am, and after showering and getting ready, Paul joined me in delivering all our Fish Extender gifts

We hadn't got any plans for this morning, and we weren't due into Key West till 12.30, so after seeing Stitch and Mickey Mouse in the atrium, we went to brunch in Tritons

We started with eggs benedict for me and eggs royale (with salmon) for Paul, then I had risotto (which was delicious) and Paul had a steak dish. We really enjoyed it and will try to eat here again

We then went back to the room to get changed into our swim stuff and we sat out on Deck 10 for an hour or so

While we sat out, the ship pulled into Key West. Paul went off to take some pics and he ran into Mickey and Minnie and he was able to get some great photos as there weren't many people around

We disembarked around 1pm and set off for the Southern Most Point. On our way we passed the Hard Rock Cafe and Margaritaville on Duval Street, we then crossed over to Whitehall Street.

It was a good 1/2 hour walk, but it felt longer as it was so hot. We passed by Hemingway's House and finally got to the Southern Most Point.

Thankfully there weren't too many people in front of us, so we took a few photos, and then we noticed Mike and his family (who we met last night) were behind us, so they took a photo for us and we did the same for them

After taking our photos we headed back to Duval Street, it was so hot, and I was so pleased to see the Margaritaville sign

We went in for a cool down and a couple of drinkies too, a Bama Breeze and an Island Lime Cooler for me and a couple of Heinekins for Paul

Next we continued down the road to the Hard Rock Cafe where we forced ourselves to have a couple of Hurricanes (as we were picking up some HRC Key West Hurricane glasses for Jules and Sue) and some onion rings and chicken strips with dips

We popped into the HRC shop on the way out and we bought a couple of Key West t-shirts, and picked up the glasses there too

We wandered back to the ship, stopping off at the souvenir shops to pick up key rings and bits and bobs and taking pics of the ship in the harbour

Before getting back on board we shared some Key Lime Pie (because you just have to ) and then we were finally back in the air conditioning of the ship

Once back onboard we went back to our stateroom and chilled for a while. Paul fell asleep and I watched the Suite Life on Deck for a while

We started to get ready around 7.30pm and we stayed in our room watching the sun set

Dinner tonight was in Animator's Palate. We started with a cocktail, and I had the Creamy Butternut Squash Soup (which was de-lic-ious) and Paul had Smoke Salmon Salad, then I had a Thai Beef dish and Paul had Lemon Chicken, and we both finished off with the Animator's Sweet Temptations
(A Trio of mini Strawberry Sable, Cranberry and Orange Cheesecake, and Double-Fudge Chocolate Cake), once again we had a lovely meal and chat with our tablemates

After dinner we got changed and had a wander around the ship.

We had one last cocktail in the Promenade Lounge and then we were off to bed where we found this waiting for us
