Saturday 30th December 06
Once again we were up at 6am as we wanted to be at MGM Studios for 7am EMHs.
As RockNRollerCoaster was about to go down for rehab, we made sure that we rode it 3 times. We had breakfast there followed by the Tower of Terror, Star Tours (where Storm Troopers and even Darth Vadar were walking around), and a very entertaining visit to the Backlot Tour
Once again as the weather was so nice, we headed back to the Pop Century for a lie out in the sun (oh how I wish I was doing that now !!).
After a couple of hours, we hopped into the car and went shopping. First we went to Super Target as Becky wanted to buy a Hannah Montana DVD, then we had a good look around Wal-Mart and then ended up in the Florida Mall.
The girls have become big fans of the Surf-Style shops this time and we had many visits to the likes of Hollister and PacSun, and Im sure that while we were at the Florida Mall they popped in to buy yet another T-Shirt.
For the first time ever, I visited a Yankee Candle store, and I bought some Christmas smelling candles in the sales (woohoo, another bargain !!).
We had tea in the food court, I had a Chinese meal (dont you just love walking around and trying all the samples of Terriyaki Chicken or Bourbon Chicken ? ~ Mmmm) and the others had burgers from Chick-Fil-A.
It was getting quite late, so we went back to the Pop, and as I entered the room, I found a wonderful surprise. On my bed was a lovely Disney Gift all wrapped in cellophane, it was a Pirate Hat filled with chocolates, an ear-ring and Pirate patch, which was a Christmas/Birthday present from a couple of good friends who knew I would wear the things at Pirate Night on our upcoming Cruise on the Disney Wonder the following week.
It really was a wonderful surprise.
After putting all the shopping away, Paul & I went to the pool bar for a couple of cocktails. Once again we all had an early night and we were all out for the count by 10pm.
Tomorrow ~ New Years Eve
