They've changed the law. Doesn't bother me, because my kids get a flu shot every year - a friend of mine lost her 8 month old baby because of the flu.
Nothing was sent home here about it..
ETA: Ok I see it is just for preschool.
I think it's a litttle over the top especially because often my son was able to get a flu shot during his yearly check up in September, but by the time my daughter went for her check up in October they had run out of them. What to do then?
That said, if you can opt out of all the really important(IMO) ones, I am sure you can opt out of this one as well.
It's mandatory..unless you say no and they they can't do anything about it.

I don't have a problem with it. Your kid doesn't need to go to government funded pre-k. Send them somewhere else or stay home with them yourself.
. So if you have to pay more because you COST more, tough. That's not a violation of your rights. It's your CHOICE to be fat and it's the OPs choice to send her kid to government daycare. If you want the benefits of these societal perks you have to follow the rules.
. THAT will be losing the freedom of choice. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Sorry.
