Yeah they are taking this VERY seriously. It is currently illegal to operate a vacation rental so I would guess that means Disney cannot open the resort for DVC use until this is lifted. I also read you can not legally rent a car in Hawaii if you are subject to the quarantine.

At the moment, short-term rentals are not allowed as they are considered non-essential. Short-term rentals are defined as rental units built on land that is designated for residential use.

Aulani is built on land that is designated for resort use and should not be affected by the restriction.
