Manchesters Raddison Blu hotel?

Sorry this isnt disney related but I've done a search and found that this hotel is recommended for people flying from Manchester airport.
I'm going to Cape Verde the 19th August and I'm looking to stay over the night before. I'm thinking this will be the easiest airport to stay at since we have an early flight and will be able to just walk over.
Anyway the cheapest rate I've found is £71 on the Raddison Blu site (a double room). Is this the cheapest I'm going to get, or is there another site I should be looking on?

Yea I think I'm going to book it. I thought if I booked later it might be cheaper, but when I put in a date for the 23rd July it was coming up as £109!

I don't know if you are parking at the airport but if you are, ask about their parking deals at that hotel. We find it really convenient to unpack the car there and then just forget about it. There are possibly slightly cheaper deals at other places but certainly worth getting a quote.

The Holiday Inn is showing as £35. How much do you think a taxi would be from there to the airport?

Probably much cheaper than £36 which is what you'd save.

I seem to think there is a Bewleys hotel near the terminal too which you might want to compare.

That hotel is £56 and it says it's 5 minute walk from terminal 1&3, and they also offer a free shuttle. I'm going to book it. Thanks for replying!

We have just paid £130 for Radisson Blu with parking for Friday - room only was 90ish. So not a bad deal.

I've paid £240 for a family suite (basically two rooms) and 18 days parking. So I think your price for one room and no parking is fab. Just remember the convenience is second to none. You walk from your room to the hotel lobby and then walk 2 minutes more to terminal 2. I love it. Wouldn't never stay anywhere else again flying from Manchester. I have stayed at both other places suggested. They are absolutely fine but not comparable.
