Manchester twilight check in?

Hi all

We have been advised today by virgin that they do twilight check in at Manchester, is that correct? I thought it was only available at Gatwick.

Why not use the online DIY check-in !

The last time I asked about plans to introduce, Virgin said not...but hey, this is the company that wouldn't even publicise the fact that Downtown Disney Check-in was back on stream until 2-3 months after it actually was.

Would love to know..........

we did it with BMI from manchester got the best seats and no hastle next day we only live 1/2 an hour away recomend it try checking on the manchester airport web site they might have more info

Thanks for the replies managed to get in touch with virgin again, and they have apologized for any inconvenience caused no twilight check in. A trainee answered the phone who thought it was available at Manchester.

Marie - Why not use the on-line check-in instead? We did this last year and it was great! You can check-in via the virgin website 24 hours before you fly. The next morning you go straight to a seperate check in desk (we walked straight up) check your bags and head off. We bypassed a massive queue for the same flight AND got the choice of seats that we wanted!

With the online check in, do you need to print anything off? I don't have a printer at home but this would be pretty handy to do before I go

We did print off our booking but they didn't even look at it when we got to the airport. They had all the details on their screens. We just walked up tot he specially designated desk, with our passports and they used that as the ID to check we had checked in on line. Then they weighed our cases, sent them off on the conveyer blet and off we went through into the airport - took about 15 mins max! I would definatly recommend it!
