Hello :wave2:

DF DD is looking into the Hilton for the night before we fly and 15 days parking. This seems to be coming out at £129.00 per room/couple.

Is this a fair price, I have no idea re' this stuff so just want a bit of advice on wether it is the bargain to end them all or should we give a wide berth?

I parked 15 mins from Manchester a couple of years ago for a week for £25.00 so with hotel room & 2 weeks parking right at the airport it doesnt seem bad.

We used the Manchester Hilton for our over-nighter and 15 day's parking last year. we found it to be quite reasonable and the room was fantastic. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Hi Jodie
i think that is a good rate. We are staying at the Crown Plaza via Virgin and that comes to the same cost even with the Frequent Virgin discount.
Look out for the Molton Brown smellies. Last time we were at the Hilton at Gatwick we had these - yummy!

In the past we found the Manc Hilton to be a little crummy. Radisson SAS is a good bet, it's linked to all the terminals and therefore in a very handy spot. Our next fav is the Crowne Plaza. We usually find the best rates by visiting the hotels own websites and booking (and paying if needs be) in advance.

we stayed in the hilton last year before our trip to florida

it was great, i would reccomend it.

I agree with the above. The Radisson is a much better bet for the money. Very convenient and some good deals on their website. Especially if you take the pay in advance option. Good to be able to check in and then go back to the hotel for breakfast or coffee. Much quieter than the airport.

We used to stay at the Radission, but once it got over £150 a night we had a look arround for other options. The last twice we've stayed at Bewleys - it was £59 a night plus £30 for 15 nights parking, although I think the hotel price has now risen to £69. We would recommend Bewleys, although because TCD have moved the flight times we won't need to stay overnight in September.
