Looking for recommendations for airport hotel at Manchester.

We don't need parking as we always get a taxi to the airport but as its a couple of hours drive-which makes it a heck of a long day when you get on Orlando time- we figured we'd travel over the day before and have a couple of extra hours in bed on flight day

Not looking for anything special, just comfortable and close to airport with free shuttle service.
TIA

I always stay at the Radisson Blu. No shuttle needed it's on site a two minute walk from terminal 2. Not the cheapest but definitely the most convenient by a mile. I wouldn't stay anywhere else now I've been here. If you don't want to eat there (it is expensive) you can order pizza in. Has a pool, gym and spa. Lovely big rooms and bathrooms. Worth every penny to me. The family rooms are ace. Two rooms with two bathrooms, just an adjoining door. My kids love it there. They see it as an extra day on holiday!!!!!

Blewleys Hotel Manchester, probably a bit cheaper than the rest, 2 mins from the airport with 24hr buses to take you. Im there in a couple of weeks for my Orlando holiday, and was recommended to me by a few friends, although I cant really comment as ive not stayed there myself yet

Completely agree with this :thumbsup2

We love the Radisson. It's not cheap but it's super convenient. It's nice to have a walk around the airport at night too.

We are booked in there for next Monday night before our Tuesday AM flight and I can't wait :cheer2:

Just priced Raddison Blu up and is about what I'd been quoted for crowns plaza (which included a union discount). Thanks I'll add it to my list. :thumbsup2
