Hi

Looking for feedback on any airport hotels that anyone has stayed at at Manchester. We are ideally looking for one that has parking included.

Thanks

Stayed at the Radisson that is on the link between the terminals twice now. Pricey at about £175 including two weeks parking but mighty impressive and second to none for convenience.

Wake up, go down and check-in your bags (even quicker after on-line check-in), then go back for an all-you-can-eat breakfast so avoiding the ho-hum fayre in the airport....

Seconded. The Raddisson is the best place to stay before flying from Manchester.

The Brittania country hotel. I think we paid £79 for over night stay and 16 days parking. They run a regular coach to the airport about 20 minutes away

We've stayed, and parked, at the Britannia several times now :sunny:
We found it okay but be warned that there is a disco downstairs and I've heard reports of people being unable to sleep for the noise at weekends :confused3

This year we stayed at the new Manchester airport Travelodge for £10 :thumbsup2
The plan was to park in the new airport 'shuttle' car park, which had promotional rates, but we got lost and ended up parking in the airport longstay carpark and paying the difference...........

We are thinking of using Bewleys next year too great rate for rooms without parking of £69 per night!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 have a good look at the website mentioned previously we were very impresed :goodvibes :goodvibes

Have booked this for Oct 07, £199 for 2 adults and 2 children for Friday night and the two weeks parking. You mention checking in then back for breakfast. Is is ok to do this only DH not too keen on leaving airport after check in, I say go for it if its ok to do so. Rather spend time at the hotel than the airport. What about breakfast. Is it an extra? I thought it was.

We've used Bewleys for the last three years and it's well worth it - we paid £99 for the room and parking. We used it last year even though the flight wasn't until 2pm - we had a lie in, breakfast in the hotel and went to the terminal at 10:30am, a leisurely start to the holiday.

We've stayed at the Brittania at Northendon and Bewleys.

Between the two I would always choose Bewleys. It's cheaper, a nicer hotel and you can walk to T2 from there. The downside for both was that a family room consisted of 2 double beds so we ended up taking an inflatable bed.

This year we're at the Travellodge with parking at the airport shuttle car park. Choice was purely on price (saving of about £50) although I think their family room have a double and 2 single beds.

The family room that we stayed in had a double and 2 singles (a pull out second single under the sofa bed) :thumbsup2

Hiya

we have used the hilton the last two years, which was very good and the evening meal is fantastic

we are trying out the sas radisson next year cant wait

Thanks for the replies everyone

Think it will definitely be between the Radisson and Bewleys

Much appreciated

Hi,
we used the crowne plaza last september, which i think is right next to Bewleys. It was fine, 2 comfortable adjoining rooms for us and kids, good shuttle service and parking in the hotel grounds. Didn't eat there as flew out early. The Radisson was our first choice but couldn't get in. Used airmiles so the hotel and parking cost us about 10.00 in total.

Staying at Bewleys this fri before we fly to Italy on Sat morning.

Paying £109 for a family room sleeping 4, 15 days car parking & transfers to airport. Which we thought was a good deal.

We too stayed at the crown plaza with parking, very comfy. We checked in after 2pm and used leisure pool etc which are all free and had a lovely meal and game of pool before our early bed. We had morning wake up and told reception that we needed shuttle at 7am. This was waiting reception at 6.50am when we checked out. The driver carried all lugagge to the van and then helped us after to load trolley at airport. The drive from hotel to terminal 2 was about 5 mins. On return to uk there is a blue phone in arrivals which is direct call to hotel reception they come straight away to bus stop c if i remeber correctly and return you to your car.

5 star service if you ask me!!! hope it helps

we are staying there again in sept before flight
