That doesn’t sound correct.
lt may be that you need to be there to make
DAS Return Times in the My Disney Experience app, but your husband should be able to make DAS Return Times without you at individual attractions or at one of the blue Guest Experience umbrellas.
It worked that way for DAS before Genie; my DH is the manager for everyone in our group, but if DD (DAS holder) and I went to a park without him, I was able to make Return Times at attractions.
This doesn't seem right at all. What is the account manager? Is that something that happens in the app when you link accounts or when you create a child's account?
in My Disney Experience, every needs a profile (not necessarily their own account).
Any guest over 13 yrs can choose to manage their own profile and plans or have someone else manage it. Guests over 16 yrs can make their own account in My Disney Experience.
In OP’s family, she is the manager. In our family, DH is the manager.
The manager is in charge of making, modifying and cancelling plans for any profile they manage.
Children under 13 need someone to create a profile for them; the person who created the profile will be assigned automatically to manage the child’s account.
This
link to the Disney website explains a little more.
