As the it gets closer and closer I swear I have more dreams about disneyland!:thumbsup2

Anybody else "suffer" from this?

Yes but mine have all been nightmares. My 6 year old is tall enough for pretty much all the rides and a few nights ago I dreamt that he was too scared by Screaming and so he got out of his seat at the top of the hill and started walking the route. I woke up terrified. I also keep dreaming that our trip will be cancelled or we show up on the wrong day or it takes us so long to pack we miss the whole trip.

Even though the dreams are terrible I can barely stand to wait. I'm so much worse than any of the kids. Thanks to the Dis I know that I'm not alone.

Oh my for sure!! Its very common. I love the good dreams though. The ones where your happy and showing someone you are with something around the park etc. But then when you get those dreams where you forgot your pass port or your plane tickets or your park vouchers, which makes you wake up in a cold sweat. I dont like those ones as much. But I always look forward to bed time incase I get a good dream and knowing its one sleep closer to my trip.

hahaha awww...I remember when I use to do that...when my dd was little I used to only be able to afford to go once a year and it was so HUGE and I would dream about it for weeks before we went and then the night before I wouldnt be able to sleep for nothing...I wouldnt be able to go to sleep till late then I would doze and toss and turn all night before just giving up at 4 am and getting up to get ready and we would be on the road at 6am...ah those were the days..and although I totally love DL, i go so much that its just not the same feeling as it used to be and it definitely doesnt keep me awake...im lucky if i can wake up at 7am on the trip days:headache:

I haven't gotten dreams yet but I'm getting anxious about the flight. I don't like to fly and I have a long (JFK to LAX) flight by myself. :scared: My trip is about 4 weeks away!

We have been going once a year for the last three years and ever since our first trip with the kids, DL is in our dreams frequently! All good, thankfully! I'm surprised I've never had an angst-ridden lost child dream. My dreams are usually about arriving at the park and glimpses of scenes on Main St and around the castle. I never get further than that in my dreams, but that's ok. I'll take a little slice of DL whenever I can! :)

I get the nightmares
heres this weeks
I am at DL with my dad . who has passed , and his lady friend, as I am taking pictures of a parade my camera breaks when Snow white is coming into view and I am hysterical , seems relly dumb when I am fully awake.
Next one and this one reacurs often , we sleep though MM and I am so upset , last dream DH was awake and does not even try to wake us! Sometimes it is I wake up at 3pm and they tell me , I thought you needed your sleep........and I cry no DL is more important! I can sleep at home!
Well , sweet dreams to the rest of you , I still have a long time of nightmares till our trip!:cloud9:

HAHA okay so I had the craziest dream last night...

I was a DL and they had just renovated HM.. But it was weird nothing like the original.. well i went in the elevator and such but then i was in this house that had all these weird effects outside and the whole idea was to outrun these crazy psychos that were in this mansion. I woke up and my heart was just racing!

Oh I get the dreams all the time anyway...
I have dreamt a few times that they changed POTC into a roller coaster/train ride like Thunder Mountain and it just kept spiraling down into cave after cave. I also dreamed It's a small world had floating tea cups you rode in and one section the place catches fire and all these real children come in with Davey Crockett guns and start blasting the evil looking characters in there..or was that while awake..anyway..:confused3 :lmao:

wadelle2: it's funny that you mention the lost child dream because I WAS actually a lost child.

My parents took me when I was 3 and told me to sit at an empty table while they got the food, but for some reason I didn't sit. I wandered off, but luckily met a dressed CM who took me to the Lost Child center where my parents picked me up.

I couldn't imagine what my mom went through during this.
